I just have a few things to see what you guys think from certain things about Harmonium. First of all, from Private Radio, does anyone think that "a solitude" could be "a solid tune"? I thought it was a possibility, but I think I still hear "solitude". Also, I saw lyrics online, and they said, "Catch me not care, call me later", but I thought I heard, "Catch me knocking, call me later". What do you guys think?
I was also wondering what you guys think the riff she first wrote for A Thousand Miles (or Interlude) is, or where it's at on Hamronium. She said she worked on it forever, and that its on there when she did the Star Lounge interview. I was thinking it could be in Annie. If it is on there at all.
My last question. On the Star Lounge interview, she said Pharrel Williams did some back background. I haven't caught his vocals, so where do you guys think they are in Harmonium?
That's it. Harmonium is awesome, and I can't wait to buy the CD and watch the DVD. And for anyone who likes Michelle Branch, she is a little page of pictures of her in the new Entertainment Weekly with Sarah Michelle Gellar on the front, and it talks about her recording, and has Jessica Harp with her.

i think that the pharrel williams part is in annie when she says, "can you feal it," and "ghosts," + all the other times in the background

Pharrel is on "Who's To Say" according to vc.com

What Tricia said... It's in the bio (http://www.vanessacarlton.com/index2.htm) under Studio Hallways.

c´est la vie has similar notes :/ b-d-c-f#-b-b-a#-b-f#....
when she plays WH live (in B) she uses almost the same 1000 miles riff
but,I never hear about her saying she was using the same riff or whatever lol

Can you guys hear the backup vocals of Pharell Williams?

Yeah, I'm pretty disappointed with how Nessa used her guests... lol that sounds funny. What I mean is, you can barely hear Pharrell, Lindsay Buckingham's guitar played a minimal part in WH, no one knows where Stevie Nicks is... Jeez.

the only thing I hear is Stephan´s backvocals in a few songs

I've only noticed them in WH.

On Who's To Say, the line "And who's to say, that we won't fade today," I think it's really "And who's to say, that we won't fade to grey." Listen to it live, and it's easier to understand.

Yeah, I agree.

as for Stevie... I think she does backups behind the second "Watch her as she flew deep within the blue" twoards the end of Annie..... going "na na na na na na na na na" call me crazy if ya want

I believe you, but still a poor use of an excellent musician.

word. I was so looking forward to hearing alot of them on the record...it was a little dissapointing when I couldn't make them out at all.
