I was wondering if anyone was taking a camera to take pictures with at the concert, whether or not the venue permits them? I usually always take a camera to concerts, I just have to sneak them in sometimes. Do you think Vanessa would care if the club doesn't allow cameras? I am taking mine.

I've brought a camera to all the VC shows that I've been to. I think it was Rochester that specifically said no cameras, but I hid mine in my coat, and started taking plenty of pictures when I saw a bunch of other people doing the same.
I think it depends on the venue and how strict they are... I remember someone on the o-board did say they got their camera confiscated at a show... don't remember who though.

Hehe. I rememeber that. It was really near to the end too. So close yet so far.
I've been to 4 UK shows. Apart from the video camera incident, I (or anybody I was with) didn't have any problems with taking cameras in or using them inside, even though the venues had no camera policies.

At the London one they were confiscating digital cameras, or stopping people from using them.

Well when I saw her at Park West last time (they have no rule about cameras) they posted signs that said no cameras due to artist's request, and when people did have their cameras security came around and told them to put the camera away or it would be taken away, and as far as I know there wasn't anyone who did get to take pictures.
I know the Rave here has a no pictures policy, and they straight pat you down, make you take everying out of your pockets, use the beeper wands, all of that LOL. Some venues are not as strict though *shrug*

Do you mean Rocklin instead of Roseville?

-
No. I mean Roseville. I was there. In Roseville.
-
Oh ok, Rocklin is right next to Roseville. I used to live in Citrus Heights. I almost swear I heard it was in Rocklin way back then, heh. I so wanted to go to that one, and when I missed it I was totally ready to do ANYTHING to go to the next concert in Northern California. Including riding my bike, erm. And so goes the crazy story.......
