-
I guess so.
I  that song, it's one of my fav' off the new album!
-
 But.. I can see that the real name is " Half a week before the winter " because in www.nessaholics.com is it  [/url]
-
Nessa said in Brazil it was called "Half a Week Before the Winter"
-
its called: HALF A WEEK BEFORE THE WINTER
however almost everyone says just WINTER cause
1. it was the name of the audio leak
2. they use it as a shortcut
-
 And I want to thank you for giving me the anwer of my life
-
yes it´s HALF A WEEK BEFORE THE WINTER
she said herself on the brazilian videochat, and at the concerts AND on the AOL sessions
-
 Thank you, Thank you and Thanks
 I read that " Streets have no name " won't be on Harmonium, is that right? :o

i realy realy hate that violin introi mean it is nice but then it is way to long it is 40 seconds i dont like that and i dont realy like sanfransisco that much anymore private radio is getting a lil annoying (but i still love it) annie is clearly the best song then winter (half a week be4 the winter)
i bet the songs that they worked on (stephan and vanessa) are: sanfransisco, streets have no name, and white houses then helped with private radio and cest la vie remixes
she should have changed papa that would be cool and then made c'est la vie like normal (acoustic)
-
They should've put an orchestra behind Papa. That would've been sweet.

'Twould've :( Although, if any song deserves to be a Piano-Vocal, it's Papa...
-
Papa's ok with just nessa's voice.
-
I disagree. She sounds like she could give a fuck in that song. NO emotion. I was disappointed.

I agree that they could do wsomwthing with PAPA, I wanted a cool arrengement ,but to say there is no emotion, that I disagree, She puts so much expression on the piano, more then any live version I´ve every heard. The same applies to her voice, it´s better.

The piano is and always has been totally amazing, but her voice... She sounds much more soulful in the live versions of the song.
-
8) Don't you like Papa ( CD VERSION )? Or I'm understanding it not very well. :?: :?: :?: :?:
-
No, I DON'T like the vocals. Yes, I DO love the piano.
-
 But I can't understand you... though I loved it a lot. " What's the problem with " NO EMOTION "?
:?: :?: :?:
-
*sigh*
As a whole, I like the song Papa.
I love the piano in the song.
I dislike the way she sings the song. She has no soul, no emotion, she sounds like she's singing because she has to, not because she wants to; she's singing like she doesn't feel the song's emotion.

I agree, although, I think that she's using little emotion vocally, rather than none at all. It kind of sounds like she's bored. Also, I DO prefer the live versions to the studio version.

Right, exactly, she sounds bored.

I didn't know it. But the song is good. And why is " LOOK UP " and not " LOOK OUT "?

meaning, "look up-look where you want to be" which means hes probably at the bottom... he wants to be at the top but hes a lowlife, or just low cos he did something that made him bad and at the bottom. look left... look where he left her
i dunno

at her concert here in Brazil she sang look LEFT 3 times ...like this: "look left , look where you wanna be...look left look where he left me" at first I thought I had heard it wrong, but then I swear when she repeated that verse she sang it like that again :?
-
I thought that live version she said "Look left look where you wanna be, look right look where he left me?? O well
-
In the Aol session thing she sang it backwords did you guys notice?
-
Yeah, I did, actually.
It annoys me how she shortens the length of the notes "look left," etc. on the CD version.
