Where I live is over by the NY side, so the majority of folk go for the Yanks, but up here at UConn, its by the MA side, so everybody goes for the Red Sox.

And me? I don't really like baseball too much, heh.

You're right...the Red Sox will not beat the Yankees in the AL Championship this year....

they're going to beat the Twins :razz:

you know what though...the skanks also lost about 20 world series

and it sorta is reversed...the whole curse thing was that they would NEVER win another WS...which they just did...so it's reversed

You can start to feel good about the yankees winning the world series when they do it without buying the best. The red sox earned it...can't say the same for the yankees.

I'm sorry, what did you say? Do you think the Yankees bought the 1996 team? 1998? 1999? 2000? You think they bought those teams? No way, we won those World Series just as you did, (just more honorably by WINNING our division too) Our talent was home grown. You think we bought Jeter? Mo? Posada? Pettite? They all came from our farm system, hun.
