I was in the car with my friend the other day and she was playing this band and I love them! I asked her who they were and got their album... and it's really good! I especially love the song, "Run", it's SO sweet!

lyrics to "Run":

OMG another American starting a thread about British bands! Snow Patrol are great- their second single 'Chocolate' has a really great video and i really love his voice. So there you go, check them out.

yeah, but they're awesome, i only heard about them a few days ago, but I can't stop listening to them.

Oh yes they are an awesome band.
I get them mixed up with an Australian based band Fur Patrol lol.
Their music is completely different though  :lol:

does anyone else think that the lead singers voice sounds a lot like the lead singer from Cold?
I like the way he says words like here and there.

Their music is kinda like the music of Switchfoot... slow rock style

So this is the first you guys have heard of them?  Crazy!  They're really great.  
He sounds a lil like Chris Martin to me.  But not extremely like him.

My friends went to the show in Dallas cuz I told them about it even though I had to work. They said it was a rad show. I wish I could have gone. I sho' luv's the Patrol! :wink:

There awesome. I got their cd a while back and listen to it a lot. I like Spitting Games, Run, and number three (forget what it's called.....)

I saw them at the Warfield in SF last night! OMG they were incredible! If you ever get a chance to see them GO!

ah, i love them. i saw them at coachella on saturday & they were super good. people compare them to coldplay and other bands like that. the album is really good as well. yep yay!

I saw and met them in Dallas. I got pix and stuff. My friend even recorderd 3 different clips from the show that came out looking and sounding awesome for a  little video camera. They were super nice guys. The show was great! :D

I dont know if any of you guys know this but they have a side project called The Reindeer Section  :D its brilliant.
I was listening to the OC mix 4 cd and it has this song called Cartwheels on it so i decided to see if the band had any other songs, turns out they do so i dled them.
I did a little research bc im really into their sound and found out that the lead singer of Snow Patrol has been in Reindeer Section  :D
Very cool stuff  8)

hmm I didn't know that. I just thought that was Snow Patrol when I heard it from the OC. Thanks for the info :wink:
