during the 2002 tour she mentioned her soapstar friend named Wes giving her troubles...
His bio (http://www.wesramsey.com/bio.html) says he was in NYC from 96-2000, so the time frame would be right.

Yeah, I remember her telling this version of the Story when I saw her in 2003. But I think she said she always confuses the stories for "Swindler" and "Wanted".

Yeah, I remember her telling this version of the Story when I saw her in 2003. But I think she said she always confuses the stories for "Swindler" and "Wanted".
And yeah, she has mentioned the story before, except I don't think she ever mentioned the guy's name before Boston, and she only mentioned his name there because she was speaking directly to her friend Jenny, asking her if she remembered the guy Wes or something.

last night she told the story again.. it wasnt wanted that she played for him that made him like her, but after that whole thing happened she wrote wanted and THEN she played it for him and he didnt even figure out that it was about him. she was like "hes such an idiot!" lol

He just played gay in Latter Days, which I bought recently on DVD and is a really excellent movie.
