As good as the songs on Harmonium are, I don't think that Harmonium has one. So no. But here's hoping that I'm wrong as usual.

Post by: B on November 04, 2004, 12:38:57 pm: I think it may have the capability to, but it all depends on how they market it. I know they pushed it back to November for it to be all sparkly and new for the Christmas CD rush... but considering so many big artists are coming out with CD's this month, I am hoping it doesn't get forgotten in the hype of everyone else. Plus, the post-Christmas rush, we will see how well they promote it. It is all going to come down to promotion, because it has been so long and only the real devout VC fans are still around and know that she has a new CD coming out anyway.

and i said: well, no, it'll be out on nov 9th and then i asked if he knew it'd come with the DVD or enhanced CD and he said he doesn't know...
but yeah, I was really 8O when he said people have been asking for that! woo hoo! go Vanessa!

The promotion has been a disaster and the press has given lukewarm reviews. But just because WH didn't do well doesn't mean other singles won't, if they were smart they'd release Who's to Say.

Here's why:

After listening to the cd several times, I've realized that overall, I think Harmonium is a stronger CD than BNN. There seems to be more balance. there are less songs I generally skip over on Harmonium than that BNN (1 vs 3). And I find it harder to pick a fave track with Harmonium (even though I love Bnn..it was easy for me to picka fave after one listen to the entire cd).....everytime i hear Afterglow I feel so happy, but then I hear C'est La Vie and I think "This song kicks the most ass" and then I hear "Papa" and I'm like awesome..... and then there's "She floats" which went from scaring the crap out of me to feelign like a real tension releaser.... Just my 3 and a half cents :razz:

Hey, you're right in my opinon.... Her boyfriend worked on it a lot and I think it'd better him off

I would enjoy Harmonium more (not that I don't already; I do) if it had been more of V handling everything about it; I think the majority of the songs would sound more like those on the second half of the CD as opposed to the first. However, I'm not sure that that would make for better sales....
