Title: Harmonium In The UK??
Post by: High On Lullabies on November 16, 2004, 02:00:02 pm: I went looking for Harmonium today, since (as I understood it), it was released here yesterday. I checked HMV, Woolworths and WH Smith and didn't find it in any of them. Has anyone else seen it here in the UK? Am I just being blind or not looking hard enough?

Amazon.co.uk says the official release was Nov 15th

I had enough difficulty getting a copy in Toronto, let alone England dog nam it!

OOOH i like your idea! I can't see why they would release it without ANY promotion of White Houses or anything- thats why i think they may be waiting for a tour so she can do some promo here while she's at it.

they guy in HMV told my dad it was because of tour dates.
Not sure if he was bluffing though...

Actually, from what I understand, they've pushed back releases so they can release it properly overseas.

From what i've been told, they're looking at the US release, and are making release plans based on what they learned from that..I don't know if that includes tour dates or not though..

Here's a couple of pix form the gig in Toronto tonight, I got a lovely pic with her (see below, with moi cut off lol) she was ace with me but looked grumpy with the other 4 people befor eme, though they were autograph hunters & not genuine fans maybe?

The d8 has now been pushed back to JULY 05! :O

Anyway, this might be a good thing (i dont mind the wait), as it would give her time to do alot more promo in the USA & Canada where she needs it most at the moment.

If you havent got the cd yet and you want it, order it from play.com . it is only 8.99 GBP incl.P&P. They deliver to the UK and all over Europe.
Its a safe site too, ive ordered lots of stuff off it.
Of course this means when the cd is officially released, she has lost 1 sale for the charts (as internet alum sales dont sount towards the chart) but i will probably buy a copy in the shop when its released.

I had an idea that maybe every1 from the UK could send her fanmail, pleading her to come to the UK. another way to help, is on coolclarity. It is a general music messageboard, but some artists/bands have their own forums bcoz there has been enuf fans on the board. I have opened a poll to try and get a nessa forum. please vote. the board is UK-based but has many other members from all over the world.

I dont think it was an import as it had no sticker on it to say it was (as imports using have these stickers on) and it was quite cheap as well for HMV - 11.99. Import albu8ms usually cost around 15.99 .

Another place UK people can get it is www.cdwow.com but obviously its better to buy it in shops because internet sales dont count towards the ahrt x
