Post by: eclv on March 25, 2003, 02:58:14 am: They are a mix of R&B, Pop, with a Latin Flavor at times. They have beauty and talent. They are amazing people, so down to earth, so funny and more importantly they can SING!! Their harmonies are hot. They did many radio shows this past summer and in the fall they opened for Marc Anthony and Enrique Iglesis.I think you all should check them out.

Soluna is going to have a tv show on the UPN. Here's an article (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/nm/20040225/tv_nm/television_pilots_dc_1) I will highlight the highlights.

"That's a great base for us to promote out of," UPN senior vp comedy development Kim Fleary says. The network has high hopes for a musical-themed project based on the adventures of the Latina singing group Soluna.

"We just fell in love with their spirit," Fleary says of the group that has toured as the opening act for Marc Anthony and Enrique Iglesias. "The show will incorporate music into the storytelling in an organic way because music is the passion of these four women."

So, finally there is a date for the taping of the pilot. If you are in the LA area you should try and come. Here is the info:

Date: Friday, April 23, 2004
Time: 6pm but you must be there by 5pm
Location: Paramount Pictures Studios in So Cal
To make a reservation call Paramount Guest Relations: (323) 956-1777
Reservations are free, age requirement is 16 years

There isn't a title as of yet, right now it is the Soluna TV Project, lame I know but it will come.

Post by: eclv on March 25, 2004, 09:27:33 am: yay!! I heard that they stopped taking reservations yesterday. I guess the studio only holds 200 people and 120 people already called. They have to hold seats for VIP's, crew, etc. But I guess you can still get on a standby/waiting list.
