It is just sooooo sad! I can not believe it happened.  I was always paranoid that someone would do it to Marilyn Manson...

I read about that earlier tonight when peeps were talking about that on Evboard. That is awful  :cry:.

It's horrifying to think that someone would even think of doing a think like this, but actually carrying it out is just... I'm too disgusted to find a word to describe it. Those guys shared their music with the world and didn't deserve any of what they got. All we can do now is let their memory live on....  :(  *bows head in respect*

I have to agree.  Sure, while some companies insist they have a copyright on the images of a show, I don't think a camera is actually going to hurt anyone, except maybe those people who believe a photograph will steal your spirit.

This happened near my university. The hospital the victims went to is literally ten minutes from my dorm.
I was never a huge Pantera fan but I most certainly respected the impact that Dime and Pantera had on heavy metal. They were huge influences on so many current metal bands. It's so fucked that someone would shoot Dime because Pantera broke up. You don't see me shooting Scott Stapp because Creed broke up. Things just happen, you can't blame people like that, and it's not worth FOUR HUMAN LIVES.
This world is so fucked.

OMG I could not BELIEVE that happened!!  I was watching the news, falling asleep, and then I heard that and I was like, "OMG NO WAY!!" I almost called my brother to tell him cause he's a big fan, but I didn't want to tie up the phone line cause I was waiting for my husband to call.  I still just can't believe it.  =\
