Damages claim
"I don't want any other families to get this, expecting it to be clean. It needs to be removed from the shelves to prevent other children from hearing it," said Mr Skeens of Brownsville.
The lawsuit seeks to force Wal-Mart to censor the music or remove it from its stores in Maryland.
It also seeks damages of up to $74,500 (£38,660) for every customer who bought the CD at Maryland Wal-Marts, and also naming record label Wind-Up Records and distributor BMG Entertainment in the legal action.

Evanescence, what did the father expect, Xmas jingles?
-
what, exactly, did they say, and is it REALLY that big of a deal?
-
*points and laughs at Walmart*
That's what they get for selling edited music. I hate edited music. And even if I ever am a parent, I'd damn sure check out the stuff for myself before I let my kid listen to it. Just because it says there are no vulgarities doesn't mean it can't be vulgar music.

They did a cover of Korn's "Thoughtless", and it has the F word in it

Going through the pages of my fantasies
Pushing all the mercy down, down, down
I wanna see you try to take a swing at me
Come on, gonna put you on the ground, ground, ground
Why are you trying to make fun of me?
You think it's funny? What the fuck you think it's doing to me?
You take your turn lashing out at me
I want you crying when you're bloody down in front of me
All of my hate cannot be bound
I will not be drowned by your thoughtless scheming
So you can try to tear me down
Beat me to the ground
I will see you screaming
Come and fill the pages of my fantasies
I'm above you, smiling at you, drown, drown, drown
I wanna kill and rape you the way you raped me
And I'll pull the trigger And you're down, down, down
Why are you trying to make fun of me?
You think it's funny? What the fuck you think it's doing to me?
You take your turn lashing out at me
I want you crying when you're bloody down in front of me
All of my hate cannot be bound
I will not be drowned by your thoughtless scheming
So you can try to tear me down
Beat me to the ground I will see you screaming
All my friends are gone,
they died (gonna take you down)
They all screamed, and cried (gonna take you down)
Never gonna forget, never forget, how we hate the world (x4)
(Gonna take you down)
All of my hate cannot be bound
I will not be drowned by your thoughtless scheming
So you can try to tear me down
and Beat me to the ground I will see you screaming
All of my hate cannot be bound
I will not be drowned by your thoughtless scheming
So you can try to tear me down
Beat me to the ground I will see you screaming
gee hope I havnt just offended anyone.

I don't see much wrong with "fuck", it is after all the most versatile word in the English language. It used to be taboo, but I'm not sure anymore.

I'm offended BV  lolol.
While I understand parents wanting to be sure their kids don't hear these words, etc. it is on them to check out the things before giving it to their children, and not depending on the companies to do their work for them.

Britney's greatest hits has the F word twice...yet no complaints
-
oh give me a freking BREAK...I fucking hate Wal Mart.
I mean come ON... kids USE the eff word all the time. It's not like they've never heard it before.

I love how you can buy, you know something like Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back or GTA: San Andreas from Walmart, yet a CD with fuck used 2 or 3 times gets so much attention. :|! :| I say.
Guess I'll get it off amazon. :?

Actually, I think it's "I want you crying with your dirty ass in front of me" so therefore, it has the A word in it AND the F word in it!! *oh my gosh* 8O aaaaaaaanyway, I now hate Wall mart and will never ever go in another one.
Notice they're not saying anything about "Haunted" or "Farther Away", and "Haunted"'s got "Raping me" in it and "Farther Away" has "Whore" in it.
haha. Stupid Wall-Mart.

That is actually an awesome point. GTA: San Andreas is one of the most vulgar products on the market right now... yet they are pimping it like there is no tomorrow.
I smell hypocrisy in their conduct

Better yet, you can grab a PG-13 movie like Saved! or White Chicks and hear at least one or two uses of the F word, and ain't nobody sayin' boo about it.
Hipocracy indeed.
