I had a dream with vanessa tonight. I dreamed that I was on her concert. The stage was on water. She was sitting by the piano in white dress....and later she was dancing to some song and there was Brat Pitt with her on the stage as well. He was dansing without T-shirt and she was so excited....

Well... I'll try to explain my dreams of her
" I was home and I was sleeping, so my brother did scream/shout/yell me and said....
My brother - Wake up, Wake up... The Vanessa album you bought from the net is waiting you out there
So...I run and run and I've seen Vanessa standing there on/in my door and I couldn't believe it and she said.... ' Well, I'm here to bring you the album " So I invited her to come in and she started to play RINSE and DARK CARNIVAL for my family and I... And I still couldn't believe it, so later she said she'd make a big concert here and I was a special guest... so the day of the concert I was going... and puff.. I woke up... This day I've been happy all the time.... "

I had a dream once that I had taken her and SJ to my favorite sushi bar in the Valley and people were coming up to her at the sushi bar while we ate and we were like good friends and everything. It was a strange dream.

I've just found my old message on vanessacarlton official forum. I wrote there about my dream with her but I really can't remember anythoing..here's my old post:
" It was awwwwwasam. I dreamed that I was reading newspaper in which I saw a cover of a new album and a caps of a new video. Than I saw this video in TV and after that I was in TV show with my friend. Vanessa and Stephan was there too. I asked her one question and she gave me an answer. I do not remember what was the question. What a pitz !!!!

I dreamed of her in beginning of 2003. She was performing with her red Piano on a huge stone in a river near my grandmas house. She was singing San Francisco from Scott McKennzie and it was sounding damn good. As I've heared she would make song called San Francisco i hoped it was the one og Scott Mckennzie cos it was sounding so wonderful.
Thats the only dream i've ever hac with her. my sister dreamed of her too (she don't like her). Vanessa was performing with Shaggy and came to talk to her after the Show. She said nessa was realy arrogant. well it was just a dream

I just woke up from the craziest dream. I was out in New Orleans eating at some outside cafe and I heard VC playing "Private Radio" right down the street! So I ran down to ask how many more songs she would play after that and she giggled. I told her I loved her music and thought she should play this and that, I can't remember because I was in shock.
She just laughed and said she would be playing for awhile. I was so stoked I handed my food to some random girl next to me and went for a drink. When I came back her bus was gone and so was she!!! The manager or whatever had gotten upset about something to do with the lighting or video in the background of the stage or something and they left. Luckily my friend Lance had gotten a cell number from one the show roadies and they called him. I asked where they were heading and he said she(VC) was pissed at her manager and they were heading to PA. They told us where they had stopped to eat or whatever and we went there. Somehow we found them. Oddly there was no Stephan Jenkins. Never even crossed my mind. Vanessa said she was going to Milford that night or the next day.
I ended up meeting up with them and sat down and talked to Vanessa for quite awhile about what her music meant to me and that I loved how her music made me feel. I remember I felt kinda stupid because I almost got tears while trying to explain this to her. Then she asked if I had ever heard of Particle and I kinda flipped because I didn't think she knew about them(which she probably doesn't but whatever).
It was a crazy dream and I was kinda pissed to have to wake up to reality. I just thought I would share my random Vanessa dream with you peeps since you are the only one's who might care or understand.

last night vanessa was in my dream, all i remember is that i was sitting i na theater type place and i guess i was going to see the lemony snicket movie and they had like stuff from the set on the stage and they had a paper with a list of songs for the soundtrack and "papa" was on it, and then i look to the left and vanessa was sitting by the stage in the corner so i was like "pssst, vanessa, are you on the soundtrack? and she was like, "they're thinking about it! they want to put papa on it, but they're not sure yet, we're hoping for it though!"

so i was at a mall or something in a store, an di went to the front to buy something and vanessa was working there as a cashier and they were playing BNN in the store, and so she rang up my items and just kept chatting about random stuff, and apparently it didn't occur to me to ask her why she was working in a store when she's a succesful recording artist... but yeah, i dont get why she keeps coming up in my dreams in the weirdest places lol

I had a dream about Vanessa last night. I forget exactly how it started, but she was at like a school or something (she may have been talking to a music class, but I'm not sure). I went over to her afterward and talked with her for a moment.
Apparently, before this dream took place I had borrowed some stuff from her and I told her it was still at home and I would send it to her and she told me to send it to New York because that's where she was gonna be by the time it got to her. I said that was fine and I walked with her outside and I don't remember exactly what we talked about, but I made reference to the fact that I was in the audience at Nashville and that she had called us "obedient" and could ask us "to do other things, too" and there were no children here. She laughed and poked me in the side.
Somehow, she explained to me that she was about to leave for Pennsylvania to see her family for a few days before she went on to New York. I don't think she was sure how she was getting there yet because the arrangements hadn't been made, so I instantly offered myself to her.
Now in this dream, I had a new Mustang (though I've never had a Ford in my life!) and it was silver. She accepted my offer to take her myself, but was a little surprised that I would do that for her because even though she considered me more than just a fan (obviously, since she let me borrow something of hers a week or two earlier), driving somebody that far (the distance is 1033 miles in real life) just on impulse is a stretch for even the closest of friends!
I told her if we could run by my house (which, in the dream was a very beautiful place in town with oak trees in the yard, a split-level house with bare wood exterior) (by the way, this dream took place in autumn because the leaves were falling) I'd grab her stuff that I had borrowed (I don't remember what it was, but it was music-related) and we could head out.
The details of the dream really break up after that, except that I had black leather seats in my silver Mustang (it had a 5-speed, by the way), and Vanessa Freakin' Carlton was in my front seat! I would imagine the trip was long (my Street Atlas USA says it should take about 15¼ hours) and driving through the Appalacians in autumn must have exceptionally beautiful (assuming we drove in the daytime). I've been very good at driving long distances almost non-stop provided I have enuff sleep, and I just hope my seat was comfortable for her because I know how bad seats can feel after six hours, let alone 15!

I had one dream along time ago about her and her family which was pretty sick and weird. It says more about me and my family though and has nothing to do with VC and her family at all, really. You can't control what you dream about for the most part. And when I woke up I was like wtf....... It was pretty bizzare.
I also had a dream including Let, nicole and other people. Again, it was pretty weird including a stage, forest(which was somehow to the right of the stage or something. It was one of those adventure dreams and included getting lost in the forest.....it was a long time ago as well.
I have the most crazy dreams. Partially because I have a good imagination where fantastical things seem to fit in a logical and realistic structure. Sometimes they seem too real; and at the same time could never exist in the real world.

1. A few nights ago I had a dream I went to one of her concerts and came back to my house with Vanessa. But I never acually got to see her...So anyway later on my mother told me she had already left to go back to the airport. So I said "hey lets go to the airport and see if shes there!" so we got into the car and magically a phone was there and it rang. So I pick it up and it was Nessa! I was oh my god hey vanessa! She's like hi! I hope you liked the show. And of course I said YEAH! Then I go "Do you remember me from the turning stone show?" and shes like yeah! Youre the one with the big hips. then she starting singing "big hips, big hips" (thats all I remember) But funny thing the very next day she posted about her 3rd album, and writing new songs! :razz:
2. Basically I had a dream I went to another concert of hers and I went with my friends but we couldnt find the show room. But later on in the parking lot we saw her.

I had a dream i was sitting on my porch in the middle of summer and this bus came by and it was a nessaholics bus and she got off and told me to come on and then i went down our hill to get on the bus and i fell right by the tree in the front yard and when i woke up i was next to the tree.Iguess it was a daydream.

I just had a dream about Vanessa last night. It was a weird dream. Vanessa was wearing a pink yarn crocheted type top and a skirt of some kind. I remember seeing her legs so it wasn't pants. In the dream I was driving her around and we went to an Amusement park kind of like Sea World but with lots of hills like Magic Mountain. I was supposed to drive her around tomorrow too. It was like we were friends though. It wasn't like I was a chauffeur. I remember saying to her "I don't believe I have you sitting next to me in my car." LOL

I've had several dreams with her, probably because I often put on her CD while I'm trying to fall asleep.... which doesn't work because I just stay up singing along :D .... but anyway yeah, she was in my house sitting on the comfy chair in my living room, and I was like "I love you! Look you're in my CD Player!" and I went to put it on and some other song which I didn't like came on and I was like, "Oh! No! Ew! I swear I like you not this!" And she laughed was like "It's ok" and was so forgiving.
By the way, yes, I undertsand I have very odd dreams :lol: !

i don't exactly remember when i had this dream, but it wasn't that long ago. it was probably back in March.
anyway, this may be nothing, but i dreamt that i was in an old music room with a high ceiling with her, and it had some pianos and keyboards in it. i don't exactly remember where she was in the room, but she was at either a Yamaha upright piano, or a keyboard, when she accidently farted. she was slightly embarassed, and had that bashful manner about her. i don't remember whether she apologized or not, but we were also in the room with the members of Hanson. it was a cloudy day. i think i could smell it.

haha....i had a dream last night. i wasnt driving her, but i met her somewhere and she had this old beat-up junker of a car (i can't remember what kind). don't remember where or why we were meeting up either, i think it was supposed to be my old high school or something.
yeah...i never remember the actual details of my dreams.

The really weird thing about my dream is not that Vanessa was such a key character in it, but that I had a Mustang. I really like the new ones and everything (and this must have taken place in the future or something, because I'd never buy a brand-new car, and I don't live in that house), but I usually see myself in something larger. I had a dream about Vanessa the other night.
She actually came to my city to play (nobody comes here.. it is a small city). I think Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails was opening for her. Weird mix, haha! Anyway, it was her time to play, but half the audience had left and there was only a small crowd left. She started her first song but there was very little support and she appeared very upset and left the stage halfway through the song. I took it upon myself to track her down -- went to her manager/people and asked if I could go talk to her. Found her in her dressing room lying down and in great despair. I introduced myself and told her was also a singer-songwriter and really appreciate her talent. (Being almost 10 years older than her, I felt like a older,wiser confidant....hahahahaa) Anyway, turns out I made her feel better and she came back to the stage and played an intimate show for those of us who appreciated her enough to listen to her music!! I sat up in the front row and cheered her on. She played and sang wonderfully.

well, thanks for sharing that, b/c it was very touching. i believe that the dream means something, considering what's going on with her and her career right now. i got misty-eyed over that one. :wink:

I had one on March 15 and I will never forget it. In my dream, I was walking on a street and there were these two woman talking, an older woman and a younger woman. They were talking to each other and meanwhile, I had walked by and saw something of Vanessa's and pointed it out and said, "I wish I could meet her one day," And then the older woman came over and said, "Would you really?" and I nodded.
She smiled and said, " I'm her mother and this is her sister. You can mett her if you want." Then I got permission from my mom because they said she wouldnt be allowed to come with me, since she wasn't a fan. I went and met Vanessa and had a blast.
The End.
Now the reason why I remember everything so perfectly?
Because most of it all happened the next day!!
I saw her mom and sister at the show, I met Vanessa and we talked for quite a bit, yet my mom wasnt allowed to meet her!

I had another one the other night where I won those ballet shoes and got to meet her for some reason and I hugged her and I was like "I LOVE YOU!" and she hugged me back and said "I love you too! I love my fans!" and we were about to have an amazing conversation when my dad woke me up. Needless to say, I was very pissed at him. :evil:

Exactly..that's why I dreamt that. I tend to make up stories in my sleep about real-life events or feelings. :-) I was thinking about that dream the whole next day.

Tonight i dreamed again from Vanessa.It's not realy outragueos or extraordinary. We both (me and Vanessa) were sitting in an empty room. Suddenly there was a piano and she started to play an old song called Wanted II. She said it was on an older demo and she wanted to put it on her next album. There was an Arrengment too for that song while there were no intruments but the piano.
The Song was so cool but i just remember parts of the melody. It was a song about Rage or Forces or anything like that. It was sooooooooo cool. Hope she sing that Song again for me, tonight...

Omfg (pronounced just like it's spelled :) ), I have to tell yunz about the dream I just had wallago at lunch!
First of all, I have to explain why I had a dream at lunch. I didn't get much sleep last night; in fact, I didn't get any at all. See, my cousin was up from Mississippi and I don't get to see him much and his former next-door neighbour was over and they were playing dice and cards and stuff, so I told them to stay put when I got off work last night and I went over there and stayed up all night learning about Texas Hold 'Em and Phase 10.
By the time we got finished, it was after 4 a.m. and I wouldn't get much sleep anyway and wouldn't be able, subsequently thereafter, to drive the 48 minutes to school this morning. So, we just went to Huddle House and I drank coffee and ate some biscuits and gravy while I read the Sunday paper and made out checks for my utility bills. When I did finally come to school, I glanced at my email and pretty much just konked out at my desk with my MP3 player going (which I was also playing on my way because the radio in the car is out). At lunch, I just took my player, still playing since it holds up to 8 hours of music, and went out to the car to nap some more. This is where the dream comes in.
I remember the White Stripes were playing when I got out to the car, and I was asleep in a matter of moments. It was then that I was transported to another college somewhere that apparently I was attending in this dream. In the auditorium, Vanessa Carlton was giving a concert, the solo type that she's been giving most of this year. She was beautiful and the auditorium was well-lit. I was sitting close (almost close enough to touch her when she stood up) and I was so thrilled to get to see her again! :D
After the concert, I got to talk to her and I told her that I had seen her back in March and she signed something for me. I remember her telling me a story about when she used to be a dancer. I was familiar with everything she was telling me, but it was just awesome that she was talking to me directly and there were only really two or three other people standing around close enough to hear.
It was while I was talking to her that some girl (obviously an obsessed fan) started reciting, verbatim, the story about the soap opera dude who was the inspiration behind "Wanted" as Vanessa had given at the Nashville show (which is realistic because a lot of fans have this CD and video, and some have possibly listened to it incessantly since it arrived in the mail) and proceeded to play it on the piano. Vanessa, who was standing in front of me, was absolutely shocked. I said to her, "You are aware that some of your fans tend to be a little obsessive; don't you?" She was just like, "Wow."
I remember a bunch of people running outside into the parking lot, and it was still daytime (consistent with the time of day I was having the dream and the fact I was having it in the car where plenty of sunlight was getting in). I don't remember what was going on, but a few fans were seeking out Vanessa to try to get an autograph.
I woke up to go back inside and the Exit-In show was still playing on my MP3 player, and I realized that it was all a dream inspired by the concert playing while I was asleep and the fact that the last thing I looked at before I went to sleep was my autographed 8 x 10 that's in the trunk of the car right now for some unknown reason. But it was an awesome dream, and it freshened in my mind my experience with my first true love in music. :D

Last night i had a very strange dream about Vanessa.She was famous and place seven in the charts with a new song called "new town". I had this dream where my house was an institution for the depressed, and everyone I know was there. They were all just milling around, being really sad, and not doing much, and I was really depressed too.
I was in my bedroom when I saw I flash of someone running by the window.
It turned out to be Vanessa Carlton dressed in a big dog suit. She was just running around and laughing like that. It turns out that she was the only one there that wasn't depressed or all emo. (haha imagine that)
Then I was sitting at the table with her and I was stirring my cereal and I had a really sad face on and she was laughing at me because of it and poking me.
Then I woke up b/c my friend was poking me to get up. :)

I've had a dream about VC, but it's always about playing drums in her band. The first time, I was just "sitting in", playing ATM. I remember specific parts of the song, and how I played them. For instance, on the CD, Abe Laboriel Jr. plays this little flourish on the hi-hat right after the end of the bridge "I....I...don't....." and back into the last verse. Live, I never heard Nate play anything there, so in my dream, neither did I!
The last one? I was definitely in her band, and we were just past soundcheck, no one in the place just yet. It looked like an opera hall, real classy, with red carpeted floors and everything. I recall walking past VC as she was on the phone(like a landline), and realizing I'd best sit back behind the drums and be ready! No performance, though. Awakened by a Geico commercial. Rats.

I had a dream last night that Vanessa was helping me learn how to play "Tall Tales For Spring" on the piano! I've been learning it for a while now, but I just can't get the last two pages down for some reason. Anyway, I didn't see her in the dream but she kept replaying those last two pages for me so I could learn to play both hands at the same time. So this morning, after I ate breakfast, I went to the piano to try to work out that part again, and I could play it! I thought that was really cool. I wish I could have seen her though.
