Title: Antonique Smith

I think everyone should check out Antonique Smith.  She is currently signed to DreamWorks (which was acquired by Universal Music Group).  She is a very talented vocalist and actress who will hopefully be releasing a CD very soon.  There is an mp3 on her site, video of her performing All By Myself and a forum where you can ask her questions and stuff :)

Well.. I'm trying to watch the videos but I can't.... And I see you just registered there.... I'll listen to the songs and I'll think of registering there...... She looks like my cousin.. hehehee... no one cares but OK

Why can't you watch the video?  is there an error or such that you're getting?

I'm not sure about downloading the video at the moment but i'll look into it.

icky ... its like yucky, or nasty.  its just something bad.  I guess in portuguese you would say "nojento"??  (is that even a word?? lol.)

Antonique is doing a few shows in NYC... She is performing @ XL tomorrow (the 7th) and next mon the 14th.  Then she is doing her own show at the cutting room on Mar 9th.  VC performed at the cutting room many moons ago before she was uber-popular.  So if you are in the area let me know and we'll hook up and you can see a great show ;)

Antonique is starring in RENT (http://www.siteforrent.com) until March 5th.  If you haven't seen the show i highly recommend it and if you have seen the show i high recommend you go back and check out Antonique's version of Mimi

The producer of RENT asked Antonique to extend so she is staying with RENT until sometime in sept probably.

She did a show with some other RENT actors a few weeks ago where she covered Let It Be by the Beatles.  Check it out, it blew my freaking mind:

RENT made her an offer she couldn't refuse :)

She is still looking at taking some time off in a few months to finish it up.  She is waiting for her producer to finish up with his current project.
