I know that there's a happy medium.

You don't have to go from one extreme (we call them parachute panties) to the other, which happens to be a .5 cenimeter-wide piece of fabric.

Don't you people shop at Target? They have the best underwear.

All I have to say is I have no thongs or granny panties. I have 14-year-old girl underwear.

thongs are comfier most of the time
 
and yes, theres a difference between cotton panties and like, granny panties that go up like 4 inches past where your pants are...

i like the victorias secret cotton panties, but i wear their thongs more

I'm not much for thongs myself.  The point has been made that they leave little to the imagination, which is true, but my main concern is that regular panties are more comforting to the wondering hand. 8)
