Title: Anyone get a PSP?

I got a PSP well 5 later I have one that works.  Apparently there's some issues goign on with the screen to which sony claims is normal but it's not, anywho its a pretty cool system! Anyone else get one?

i hear loads of people got dead pixels and other problems.

part of the reason why i'm waiting til xmas to get a PSP.
.hopefully sony'll fix it's problems by then.
and they're just too darn expencive. :roll:
i'm hoping for a price drop soon.

Sony doesn't claim it to be a problem. On page 13 of the manual it states: red, green blue, and sometimes black pixels are normal and are not a sign of defect.  BULLSH*T   If thats true then why are there over 80,000 defect already?? I myself went through 5 before i got one that wasn't defective.

Dude.... all LCD's lose pixels.  It's not uncommon to buy a brand new LCD TV and have it miss 2-3 pixels in the first 3 months.

In fact, they have upper limits on how many pixels they have to drop before it's considered a flaw.

If you don't like, why did you try 5 times?  Just return it.

What they both look like?   im confused.   For one if you look at the top picture the button placement is changed and its actually missing a few buttons.   It may have been a prototype?  Definitely not a PSP tho

The top one looks like a badge or key chain with a PSP photo on it :)

I think it's a mockup someone did before the design was unveiled to the public. As usual, random CG artsts on the internet outdo the multi-billion dollar company in cosmetic design.

judging by the size of the clip on it id have to say you are correct sir.  I found those pictures and tried to visit the sites and they are either a. old or b. nonexistant
