This is soooooo sad! I can't stop crying. He was an amazing man. He changed the church. He was like the best pope ever.
-
at least now he won´t suffer anymore. he had a long life and he had many challenges . his health was too fragile in his last years.

 In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spritus Sancti. Amen.
:? I'm worried about the next Conclave...however, if Cardinal Francis Arinze is elected as next Pope, I'll be quite pleased. :D

That's really sad
A good man left the world while many "bad" ones that don't deserve the life stay here...

Ave Maria
gratia plena
dominus tecum
et bendicta tu e mulieribus
et benedictus fructus ventris tui Jesus
Sancta Maria, Mater Dei
hora pro nobis pecotoribus
nunc et en hora mortis nostrae
Amen
I usually say it in Latin...that's how my church does it. sorry if I mispelled anything.[/i]

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon them. And may their souls, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

The number of people paying their respects to the Holy Father is amazing.
I heard they just cut the line off because it takes 24 hours to get from the end through. That's is just amazing!! It's something like 18,000 people an hour are going through.
I also think it's great that George W., Clinton, and George Sr. are there to pay their respect.

Its even nice that the Prince of Wales cancelled his wedding to attend his funeral.
I ofcourse won't be able to make it too the Vatican but I'll be in the Cathedral for the requiem mass we are having. If he only died a couple months later then I might be in the running for Pope.

yes but they told Jimmy Carter, who was president when JPII was elected, the delegation was full and couldn't go. I say give Condi the bump off and let Jimmy on Air Force 1!

I read that. Something about they limited it to 5. Right, it was the first time a pope visited the White House 1979. If I remember correctly.
