Tagline for The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movie.
LOL!
I read the first book.
Despite the tagline I'll see it with the kids. Opens June 1.

oh my gosh, i absolutely love these books. My friends and I already made plans to see the movie the day it comes out. It should be amazing! And i love Amber Tamblyn. And Alexis Bledel, for that matter. I'M SO EXCITED :D !

i saw it on opening day with all my friends.. lol ya we're kind of corny like that.. but it was really good. the casting is very good and believable, the acting is good, and the storyline is strong because well obviously the book.. could have used more jokes as there is a lot of drama but i'd definitely recommend it to girls... though i guarantee most guys will hate it

I agree...what guy would like it? But, as a girl, I saw it and thought it was pretty cute. A little cheesy, but that's exactly what I expected. Overall, I thought it was very good. I'm glad I saw it. :)

I've seen it two days in a row now  heh. I saw it on Saturday with a couple of my friends, then today/Sunday my other friends wanted to see it to so I kind of had to but let me just say, if you have to see it twice, it's awesome each time. And I cried both times as well. But if I have to see it a third time, I think I will have to hit myself.

Amazing movie. Yeah, not for the guys. But we forced 2 guys to come with us...and it didn't work out well... one threw up "because he couldn't handle the emotion." (I'm pretty sure it was just the popcorn, but he sticks by his reason.) So we're going again with just the girls. I cried, I laughed.. oh, and I actually liked the changes they made from the book, which I never do when books are made into movies. They made good decisions.

I read all of the books and got sucked into them. The movies though weren't exactly true to the books. They completely got rid of Lena's sister who was an important character. But, that storyline was a little messed up anyway. It only gets more messed up later on [wink wink]. The other storylines were good though and the only acting critique I have is for Alexis Bledel, she's more of a Rory.

OMG I absolutely love this movie! It has an awesome soundtrack btw, Natasha Bedingfiled, Chantal Kreviazuk, Rachael Yamagata, Brandi Carlile and more.
And can I just say that Carmen's dad is an ass!!

"Unwritten" is a great song!! So uplifting. :D I love the end with the gospel choir. It gives me goosebumps. Pop music at its finest.

Right. When KH and I were on the road I turned it up, she even liked it.
So I just got done watching the movie for the second time this week. I just can't seem to get enough of it. It's funny, sad and just fun! Love it!
I work with teens btw, that's why I have seen it so many times.
