Post by: LostDwarf on March 29, 2003, 08:45:26 pm: So i was looking around the web today and i actually found a Vanessa cd i don't have, and it shocked me when i saw it here's the picture of it

It's the Japanese import of Be Not Nobody it is said to have 2 bonus tracks, when i looked on ebay for this i could not find it. Does anyone have this version of the album? I own about 4 copies of BnN, the first one is the one i bought at the Virgin Mega Store in times square the day her album came out and which is signed, the second one is the same version just from a different store, my third copy is the Special Tour Edition one and my 4th is the other Japanese import version with the title and songs in Japanese, i haven't opened it yet so i don't know if the inside is any different. But the cd shown above is one i've never see, so if anyone could help it would be great

It's a very nice item :)
There's only one bonus track I think (too lazy to check now, maybe later!)

On mine, the CD case is the same as the US version (apart from some extra japanese copywrite info and stuff), it doesn't even list the two bonus tracks. There is a thin paper sleeve that wraps around the case that has that new cover on it and the (full) track listing in Japanese. There is also a black and white lyrics booklet (in japanese of course).

Ghis, is that how yours is? Or did I just get mine too late and so didn't get the exclusive cover?

No it's the same I have.
The exclusive cover is that paper sleeve they put on the cd, nothing more.
But it's still a very nice item :wink:

If you're talking about the Japanese one, it's not gold.
The gold one is from China!!
And there's also another one from Taiwan, the same as the Chinese one but not gold.
Pretty confusing huh? :?

I understand that it has some different things and stuff, but honestly. It's like buying Harry Potter (or whatever book, if you are not a big fan of Harry Potter) hardback, and then buying it again paperback... :?:

No it isn't. You just said yourself that they have different songs on. So it's like buying the same Harry Potter book but with an extra chapter(s).

Post by: jsbachsonata on May 27, 2003, 10:43:16 pm: Hey. I live and Taiwan and I visit Mainland China very often, and the original BNN there is just like the US version. There is NO gold disc. Taiwan and China's are both the same, except that Taiwan's has paper cover over the cd with chinese info. The gold disc you're talking about must have been a popular pirated copy from China.
