Title: I need everyones thoughts/prayers.
Post by: Gina on July 05, 2005, 08:05:30 am: I won't go into the whole story, but my Grandpa is dying, he's been fighting it for so long now, but it's now come down to the end :( My family thankfully has all come together, to be there for him. As many of you know, my Grandpa is one of the single most important people in my life, I love him more than I could ever express :cry: I got the chance to tell him. We came home early from our trip to Cali/Vegas. Anyway, I'd really appreciate if you could keep him and my family in your thoughts and/or prayers. It's a really rough time right now, and I just want him to be peaceful. Thanks guys.

I know how horrible this will be for you and how much you loved him. There's not really a lot you can say in this situation that will make it better- because saying he lived a happy and loving life doesn't quite seem the point, because you're the one who's going to have to deal with him not being here anymore. So i'm so so sorry gina- i will think of you really often- the pain will pass someday.

I lost the most important person in my life 5 years ago so I can understand (but at the same time of course not know exactly) what you are going through. No words can take away the pain but good thoughts can help at a time like this. I barely made it through but I am still here. You will too. Take care Gina and enjoy the time you still have together!! just for an update: he's still hanging on, spent the day with him again. the doctor came in today, said that he could live up to 3 more weeks, but that it also could happen at any moment. :heart: :cry:

He was having open heart surgery
And had a heart attack
And passed away.
I miss him like hell cause he was my only father figure.
I will most definitely pray for you,

My Grandpa passed away at 12:10 am this morning... they say he went peacefully. I will miss him more than one could ever know, and will always love and remember him. Please continue to keep my family in your thoughts and/or prayers because I know that it's going to be so rough on all of us. Thanks..

And thanks again to everyone. I just went through 2 of the toughtest days of my life, his viewing and funeral/burial :cry: It was so so emotional for me, and I'm sure it will be for quite some time, but with you guys on my side, and all my other friends and family, I know I'll make it... and I know he's peaceful in Heaven. :heart: You guys are incredible, really.

I'm so sorry for your loss as well. Thanks. It is a horrible feeling, but you're right, being around family really does help, though nothing will get rid of the pain... but we always have the memories.

and thanks kulpy, I'm trying to stay strong, and continue with my life.. thats what my grandpa would want, but it's hard.

:heart: you're so sweet. thanks hun. I'm tryin to... not easy but work is kind of consuming my life right now... and working with kids kind of keeps your mind off things atleast from 830-230 every day.

So anyway.. I'm thinking of getting a tattoo in his memory. I'm not entirely sure what to get though. Anyone have ideas??
