It is mainly about Stevie Nicks, but I thought this part was kind of cool
"I guess the songs never get old for me because they're all so personal. When I perform them, I try to remember who I was then, who that version of me was. It's really heavy sometimes, and sometimes I still get really emotional."
Nicks says that watching her tour mate Carlton perform has much the same effect on her.
"I adore that girl, but I can't watch her because I get all choked up," she says. "Vanessa reminds me so much of myself at that age. You know, Lindsey (Buckingham) and I were very much in love, and I had this intense passion for (making music). I cry because she makes me remember why I started doing this."
Carlton recently commented how honored she is to be sharing a stage with one of rock's legends. Nicks says Carlton needs to stop with the legend stuff, because, while she's proud of her work, Nicks believes she has yet to write her one defining song.
The whole Nicks/Carlton tour has been a love-fest, lol. I think it has really been good for Vanessa and her career, though. 8)

There's gonna be a movie about Vanessa some day, and it's going to be good. Even non-fans will like it. :D

Stevie Nicks also said at the Concord Pavillion, "she is one of the greats." Among the other things...
She really is too. It is about time someone else noticed and said something. Vanessa has talent I don't think even she knows how much yet. It just needs to be cultivated. I'm sure stevie nicks sees it now. Otherwise why would she be giving so much support?

I think this is so wonderful that V has a new friend in a high-place. Stevie is probably one of the most talented musicians (in my opinion) of time, she has amazing song writing abilities, and such a unique, soothing voice. I think it is so awesome that V is blessed to be able to open for Stevie, and that Stevie has taken such a liking to her, maybe Stevie will help V with her stupid record company? Who knows...it is just so nice to know that V is in good company. 8)
