hoping the Mets will make the wildcard. there only 1/2 game back at the moment.

If only they didn't lose to Philly tonight. They have a lot of in division games coming up too, those'll be important.

I am just content with the fact the Cubs are putting out the white flag and trading people, having their good players have surgery, etc.
I still want my Brewers to finish .500, but it will be an uphill climb.

they're now 1.5 games back, w/ philly leading the NL wildcard race. hopefully we'll take game 3 this afternoon.
Florida and Atlanta are always tough for the Mets, so it's going to be a rough week I think.

I still want my Brewers to finish .500, but it will be an uphill climb.

Ned Yost is an outstanding man and coach. I was a big fan of his while he was in the Braves' organization. Met him a few times, and he's one of the nicest people in all of baseball. In fact, he's a lot like Bobby. He's never going to say anything to get himself in trouble. He's going to hide, and let his players do their thing without getting in the way. They'll never win 20 in a row. They'll never lose 20 in a row. But one day you'll wake up, and you'll see his team in first place without anyone ever talking about it.
The Brewers, as long as they keep Yost around, are going to continue to rise.
