So... news is,

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!! I'M GOING TO GERMANY!!!


 Some of you already know about this and have been following the process on my LJ but it hasn't been final til today. I only found out for sure this morning. I'm leaving tomorrow and will be spending the next year (until July) as an exchange student in Würzburg, Bavaria, which is

a) really small
b) full of students
c) too far from any piece of water you can call sea
d) too cold for me to survive one whole winter

Plus in case anyone's wondering, no. I don't speak German. Which is the main reason this is a huge adventure for me. I'm nervous, and really scared but still incredibly excited! :D

I don't know how often I'll be able to come round here from now on, given that I'm not taking a laptop with me for now (doubt it'll make much difference since I've been pretty much absent for a while now) and will mostly rely on uni comps. I'm going to miss it though, lurking around here. I shall be back as soon as I'm settled. So, til next time it is :) Wish me luck!

wow.

bavaria,eh? thats so cool. i love the part that you cant speak any german. it indeed will be an adventure. there are plenty of english speakers, but the speak the "bavarian english" english in the bavarian accent. hahaha

wish you all the best. when you're in München, you have to go to the Hoffbräu Haus. its this really cool place. you cant get a 1litre jug of bavarian beer there. yummmmm. i miss that so much.

Well hello everyone!!

I'm on the uni comps. I'm doing pretty well here, speaking some German and all! They even put me in the midlevel class, w00t! :D

I'm hopefully going to Oktoberfest next week, how cool is that? Hvaen't partied too much since I came so that should make up for it. Plus tonight a couple of bday parties. I can't wait!

PS: Oh dear, my phone just went off and the whole comp room hear Mraz singing 0% interest...  :oops:

bavaria is so pretty. Not as pretty as the north of germany (my home) but still pretty. It's wonderful to have guests here in germany.

p.s.:believe me that herman is a horrible language. It's realy not easy to learn but i know you'll do it :D
