Wichita Falls, Texas is my hometown. I live in Dallas, Texas now which is 2 hours south of Wichita Falls.
I went to Midwestern State University (MSU) in Wichita Falls for my freshmen year in college. I lived in Wichita Falls for almost 20 years.
I know Wichita Falls better then anyone on the planet. It's a small city of about 95,000 people.
I might know who is responsible for bringing Vanessa Carlton to Wichita Falls. His name is Dr. Hull. He also brought the band The Flecktones to Texas. I heard a rumor from my brother, a advocate guitar player, that Dr. Hull was trying to get Vanessa Carlton to come to Wichita Falls. I didn't think it would happen though. I'll definately make it to this concert without a doubt.

Nah I'm not much of a Cowboy. I do love Texas though especially the Dallas metroplex.
I hope Wichita Falls can provide Vanessa with everything she needs for this show.

I called the number, 3 times. Everytime I called, it was this girl that was like "Umm..sorry hun, you have the wrong number!" I think I annoyed her alot. I'm in TX< I"m wondering does anyone know how much tickets are?
-
Tickets are $15 for non-students and non-faculty.
You need to get in touch with the Akin Auditorium at (940) 397-4267

Thanks very much!

No problem. If you have any other questions you can ask me. I know everything about Wichita Falls (where Vanessa Carlton is playing at on 10/21/05)
-
Vanessa Carlton is performing as part of MSU's Art Lecture series.
The auditorium holds around a 1,000 people or more. It probably won't be sold out unless it is promoted well at MSU. I was at a concert she did at UTD (University of Texas @ Dallas) and there were about 500 people there and two other music acts.
The Akin Auditoirum is an ok place. If I'm not mistaken this is a first come first serve event. The tickets are not numbered so get there 30-45 minutes early to get good seats. The last I checked 360 tickets had been sold.
