What!? No Kate Bush thread yet?
I think she is brilliantly talented, with a breathtaking voice... anyone agree?

ha ha. Cool. :D
I think a lot of Nessa fans would dig her music because she is very original, intelligent, plays the piano and has a very unique voice. I recommend Wuthering Heights (the new vocal version is my favourite)

I haven't heard much of Kate Bush, but I like what I have heard. And I certainly give a nod to Hayley Westenra for her cover of her "Wuthering Heights". ¡Brava!

My dad LOVES Kate, so naturally he makes me listen to her while we're in the car.
I love Aerial. :P

I really hated Hayley Westernra's cover. It had no passion. When Kate sings, "Ooh, let me have it, let me grab your soul away", it's so passionate, it gives me chills. Hayley on the other hand, sounded like she was just singing the lyrics, as opposed to feeling them. I thought it was bland.

Well, I can say this: Kate Bush's version did haunt me a good bit more. She sounds damnright evil! 8O

Hmm, not sure if that was her intention, but the song and performance of it is very true to the mood/feeling/theme etc. of the book.
I was in a production (Ok, ok, just a high school production, lol) of Wuthering Heights and played Isabella. This became a favourite song of mine during that period.

My favourite song from her is "Wuthering Heights".
I like her latest album, "Aerial", too :D

Kate is one of my all time favorite artists. "Hounds of Love" and "The Dreaming" are among my all time favorite albums. :D

i saw her red shoes cd at the goodwill and thought the name looked familiar -- I did not like it! I like her voice but I was not digging on her scene. (it's going back to the good will..)
