Title: trump vs. rosie
Post by: Laura on December 22, 2006, 02:03:43 pm
if you dunno what im talking about, just go to the insiders website or search youtube it's all over the place. even cnn for that matter.

i'm not gonna put neither for an option cuz i wanna know whose side your on if you had to pick between the two of them.

i can see almost all of you siding with trump, but just thought i'd ask out of curiosity.

i'm going with Rosie, but thats cuz i always watch the view & think she's hilarious. Trump is just acting like a kid by name calling & attacking her weight & sexuality. i mean what grown adult does that?

The Donald because he's shameless and rude.

it is soo stupid that in a world of the free speach you can not just say something about someone. Letterman, Leno and any other comedian does it almost every night, and they never get sued. I think that rosie was not as mean as donald. He was a freaking douch to her. I think it would be funny if donaly totaly went into living on the streets... then he will understand- he is an ass, I dont really like him

I think she needed to keep her mouth shut.

I'm with the Donald 100%.

wow, maybe rosie should have kept his mouth shut, but there's NO excuse for donald's repeated personal bashes. besides, rosie's the moderator of The View. While she was making some personal bashes, she backed them up.  I agree with Rosie that Donald is hardly the model for morality after 2 marriages with children and affairs for both.  Shows like The View make comments on culture--- that's their function.  What Rosie said (besides maybe the financial part, which isn't really offensive anyway imo considering he's loaded) was true.  Mean, but true. As a huge fan of The Apprentice and and an admirer or trump's success, I'm shocked at Donald's immature comments and confused by his ethics and lack of class.  Makes me wonder how he really got so far.

oh by the way, I already voted for trump before I read the post... didn't realize there was an issue between them, just thought it was a random "who do you like more?" poll... haha cuz their names are kinda similar Donald and O'Donnel...

this video basically sums it all up:

"You can't make false statements," Trump tells PEOPLE exclusively. "Rosie will rue the words she said. I'll most likely sue her for making those false statements – and it'll be fun. Rosie's a loser. A real loser. I look forward to taking lots of money from my nice fat little Rosie."

I think the "feud" itself is stupid and pointless, so I'm cheering for the person who is going to keep me more entertained. Right now, Donald is making an ass out of himself and I think it's hilarious.

Merry Christmas to you, too.

he's so nasty, that's mean.

but why would Rosie just attack him like that? She was talking about Miss America but straied off and started harassing him.

they were both out of life, but i think trump took it too far

Rosie is always saying her "view" on things, but i think they hated each other before this whole thing happened so she went a little further than maybe she should have.

btw, i love this blog.. (she always writes in this style)

i side with you.

i don't get why ANYONE cares about stupid things like that... especially tabloids in general and i pity the people that keep US weekly and other shameful publications funded.

you're right, it is really stupid... it's not like I spend my day thinking about celeb issues, but I usually have an opinion one way or the other once somebody tells me what's going on.  But really, how can you honestly be completely apathetic when there's a situation between two people, celeb or not, which conflicts with your morals? It's not cool to meddle in other people's business, aka gossip, but when it comes to celebrities, voicing an opinion is completely rational as long as you're not getting overly emotional. For me, hearing about celeb gossip is like picking from a Would You Rather or like when somebody asks "what do you think" about an issue you really don't care about but once you start talking about it you keep having more to say. I don't let any of this get to me, so in that sense I don't really "care".. at least not for more than a few minutes. For instance, I previous claimed to be pissed at Donald for the Rosie thing, but I've still watched every episode of the Apprentice this season and the Rosie thing never really comes to mind.  And no I don't buy tabloids.

I think they're both being immature and acting like children. Why would anyone else care about two people who are just picking fights?
