do you all have any important dates to add to the list or any corrections to make to what i've found so far? any help or input would be most appreciated -- thanks!! :)
*edit (2/3/07): i've updated the list again. still looking for more info! :)
-
I don't know when was it, but you miss the day when Best Behaviour was premiered as a new song.
-
Feruary 27, 2002, she performed at the Grammys.
You can also include the date when the nominations were announced but I don't know when that was.
-
Was "Ordinary Day" really released as a single before "A Thousand Miles"?
-
What about Pretty Baby?
-
How 'bout the day she was born August 16th 1980? That's pretty important....
-
thanks for the input, everyone. i've added the above to the list, and anymore help/ideas would be great!
as far as the ordinary day single release date, both mtv and amazon.com have OD cd singles in their catalogues with original release dates of 1/1/02. i also find it hard to believe that OD was released before ATM but that's the info i found...
the earliest release date i've been able to find for pretty baby is 2/10/03, which doesn't really make sense if it was on the top 40 earlier than that, does it? so i don't know if there was an earlier version of the single that i haven't seen online or what. i'm so confused! *lol*
'kay, back to researching...
-
I don't think it 'Ordinary Day' was released before 'A Thousand Miles', because I remember Vanessa saying how she wanted to release 'Ordinary Day' first, but the label persuaded her to go with 'A Thousand Miles'.
-
how about 8/16/80
when nessa was born?
-
OD was absolutely NOT released before ATM- ATM is the single that got her famous, and i remember waiting in anticipation for the OD video to come out.
-
August 4th, 2002 when 'A Thousand Miles' hit number one on the official Australian singles chart.
-
she performed at the grammy's in 2003 not 2002.
-
when she lost her viginity? I cant remember the date that well, i had a few drinks before we got down to it.... :D
1997-1998 sometime...

LOL.
She told me I was the special someone.

*lol* you all crack me up!
thanks for the additonal dates, everyone...still looking for more info! :)

she performed at the grammy's in 2003 not 2002.
My mistake.
-
didt she release atm before OD?
-
'kay...after finding v's report on a & m records online, i finally have the correct release date for ordinary day... according to a & m, ordinary day was released on 8/13/02, after having been "deleted" on 7/17/02, whatever that means (http://www.smileyvillage.com/smilies/confused0007.gif)

It went platinum twice actually....and um I thought OD was released in November? Not August?
