Ok, is there any month perhaps that she's thinking the album might be released?  Any set dates for anything?

Well Vanessa's more or less done now. I think it's just tying up loose ends (updated website, touching up songs, tracklisting, etc). I suspect we'll be hearing something from V within the next 6 weeks. I hope it's soon though 'cos I'm anxious for this new Vanessa material!

considering april is next month and there is no single, video, album cover, tracklisting, or even hint from nessa that it will be out in april, i would not count on the album being released then.

If it were coming out in April it would already be up on Amazon. It's looking like it won't be out until the Summer at earliest to me.

I have to say, V is definately good a procrastinating...lol. I couldn't forget all the waiting it took to even get a date for Harmonium, and even then it was pushed back.

and keep in mind, stephan's working on this with her, and there's no doubt that he's worse than her, though it's more likely perfectionistic tendencies holding up the process. even just sitting in the studio with them for an afternoon, you can see it.. "let's do this again. i don't like how you sang this word." etc. lol.

I don't know how much of this you saw and if you'd be able to answer, but it's something I always wanted to know; what's the recording process like? Does Vanessa lay down the piano first and then the orchestra come in or whatever?

Did you get to see that side of things?

See, this is why Harmonium didn't sell well. The release date kept getting pushed back, and there wasn't any promotion when it did come out...now it looks like Heroes and Thieves is getting similar treatment. How do they expect albums to sell well if there's no news and everytime something is announced, it turns out to be false? I have no worries about the album itself...I know it's definitely going to be her best work; I just have no idea when it's going to be released or if it's going to mark a comeback for V.
