Title: "New" option for posts

Hi Katia (and Trolan too, hehe),

I was wondering if it would be possible to add a little option to the board.
There's a board I go to that has a small "New" written next to the post title: it's very useful to know the posts that have been created since the last visit.
If it's not too much work to set it up, it'd be very nice to have this new "option" available.

we have it.

but instead of having an image that actually says "new"
we use a different colored image.

Nope, that's not what I meant.
This icon means there are new posts in the thread.
What I mean is a "NEW" word within the thread, next to the post title, saying it's a new post.
It would look like that:

You can follow this link when you log in:

http://forums.nessaholics.com/search.php?search_id=newposts

That will display a list of only threads with new posts since your last visit.  If you'll follow the link next to the thread title that looks like this (http://forum.nessaholics.com/templates/subSilver/images/icon_newest_reply.gif), it'll take you straight to the first unread post in the thread.

Usually the first thing I do when I come to the forum is go straight to that address above and start middle clicking on all the (http://forum.nessaholics.com/templates/subSilver/images/icon_newest_reply.gif)s so I have all the new posts open in tabs strung across the top of my browser.

The big problem I have sometimes, especially when I haven't been on here in a while and there are lots and lots of threads with new posts, is that if I lose my Internet connection before all the links start to come up, I'll have to log back onto Nessaholics and it'll forget all the new posts I haven't open up yet because it logged me off after I lost my connection, hence now there aren't any new posts because I was just on a minute ago.  That sucks.

I've seen the "view new posts since last visit" option but I have to admit I've never tried it before... :oops:
