please no wisecrack remarks on either go in their threads if you wanna bash them..both of their comeback cd's come out the same day (october 30th). if you HAD to buy one, just out of curiosity, which one would you buy?
a lot of bsb fans are freaking out cuz britneys label moved her cd to the same release date as theirs. but i dont think anyone would buy her cd cuz shes so messed up.
& if no one wants to admit they picked either, its fine you dont have to say anything just vote.

same here. I don't really like her music at all. but thats just me I really dont listen to pop besides v but I don't concider her pop either...anywho different story...
I just think that she is a genius I mean come on shes in the news like all the time not a day goes by that I don't log into some news site and the first sthings I see BRITNEY SHOCKING whatever! its so I mean of course people are going to buy her stuff, oh well shes clever!

If forced to buy Britney or Backstreet, definitely Britney. Although I in no way play to buy her new CD.

I think them moving Britney's release to the same day as BSB might hurt as much as it might help, though. While there are two different target fanbases, the girls who go to buy BSB might also buy Britney, and vice versa, so it could all work out.

i used to be a very big britney fan...but not anymore. so id pick britney....from the new album there is only one song i would actually listen to aside from Gimme More...and that is radar...the rest really dont like...

I chose Britney, not a big fan of either of them but I was never into Boy Bands and that includes Back Street. Well okay, new Kids on the block were pretty awesome when I was five. I just hope she cleans up her act, I liked her better pre-mommy/druggie

Well I voted for britney before, saying I'd get a good laugh about it.
I was just listening to her new single, and you know it actually isn't that bad. And I almost wish Britney huge success with this new album, because it would mean that image really doesn't matter..

i just pirated the album and my god it is AMAZING. im shocked really. not a bad song at all. It's not even a repeat of her old stuff at all. I could totally listen to it again and again. At the same time I'm like, should I really support this chick given all the shit she's up to? Ultimately I'm all about the music, and I think an artists image, positive or negative, should be completely irrelevant. I think if brit really did make a comeback it would be a great message, that image might seem to matter, but really doesn't.

I don't care if an artists' voice is computer-generated. At all. As long as it sounds good and the song is ace then I'm in.
For instance, I disagree with everything Jessie Daniels says and yet I still adore her entire album. Thank the lord she never says "Christ" in any of her songs.

honestly I don't care if the artists has talent or not. When I'm listening to britney I'm always thinking about all the production that goes into, who wrote the amazing beats behind her "voice." Being all about the music is being all about the sound, not about how it's produced, imo.
And I will always keep a copy of Milennium at the ready because it's just too classic. But Brit still has my vote.

yea that's exactly what i intended to say. I mean brit has talent as a performer, but compared to any "respectable" artist, she's got nothin'. So yes, I still don't care whether or not an artist has true talent. If they're completely manufactured that's fine with me, as long as I'm gaining something from listening to the final product. And when it comest to Britney, I'm gaining a whole lot of dancing and good moods.

'lo and behold I actually bought the BS album last night at Virgin. It was sitting right next to BSB on the rack, but brit looked hotter on the cover, so I chose her. lol but seriously it is a fantastic album and you can see how many people worked to make it so great. it is very obvious britney is not trying to take more than her fair share of credit.

i read an article where BSB are expected to sell 100,000 cd's in the first week which is a lot better than their last cd. NY seems to love BSB cuz a cashier from a popular music store told someone "wow your like the millionth person who bought their new cd" that makes me happy :)
they just did a ton of promo their yesterday so thats probably why. Britney doesn't seem to be doing ANYTHING for her promo. Sucks that bsb work so hard, yet Britney sits back & does nothing.

It was a phone interview. He asked her if she had anything to say to her fans for supporting her. Her friend Alli came on the phone because Britney ran out of the room. When she tried to get her back on the phone, Alli comes back saying she's in the shower. In the middle of an interview, she takes a shower. Hello? Ryan was like 'well I think her fans would like to hear something from her'
The LEAST she could do was thank her fans for still supporting her. she didn't even have any thank you's on the cd. do you know how much BSB have been doing for their fans? i mean, it's incredible they take time to talk to fans before shows/signings for like 15 mins, hug all the fans that ask, i can go on. Britney needs help! i was gonna download it online but now i'm not even gonna do that.

trust me, i am a HUUUUUUUGE britney fan... i was at virgin in la at midnight to buy her cd.. i was the FIRST one in line out of the 200+ fans that were there.
i just think everyone's making a huger deal out of that "interview" than it needs to be. it wasn't even an interview... ryan called her while she was still in bed.

that's awesome that they're so good to their fans. i'm a HUUUUUUUUGE fan of this guy tyrone wells.. and he's absolutely AMAZING to his fans. he's played for me backstage for my birthday. and he ALWAYS stays after shows for as long as it takes to to sign and take pics w/ fans. like he is the epitome of fan appreciation haha. so i know how it is to be a fan of someone who so obviously goes out of his/her way to show that they're grateful.
and as a fan of britney, she's made me smile for SOOOOOOOO many years and she's done so much for me that she's not even aware of. like it's just on a completely different scale for her. i'm sure it wasn't even up to her to release a cd at all. she hasn't done any promotion. nothing. so the fact that she didnt put a thank you in her cd doesn't bother me. she didn't have any part in the making of the cd booklet at all haha. i can't explain it. like i'm okay with her just taking a step back. i've heard her appreciation for years.... i don't need it now.
i dunno.. does that make sense? haha. i don't care if people call me delusional. it just annoys me when people (not you, just in general) try to speak for me and say things like, "BRITNEY ANGERS FANS FOR NOT SAYING THANK YOU ON KIIS FM" like... omg i was SOOO excited to hear her on the radio, i didn't even THINK about that. it's just stupid. ok i'm done. :)

OMG!!!!!! this is her best cd yet! seriously... every single song is AMAZING. like i know everyone thinks i'm saying this cuz it's britney.. but seriously. the songs are genius! it's been getting AWESOME reviews from EVERYWHERE! people, rollingstone, etc. etc. it's phenomenal! if you went to all her tours, you would seriously loveit.
