I pre-ordered the Heroes & Thieves import album (with bonus tracks) with CD Universe, and they e-mailed me yesterday to tell me that my order was now on backorder because "the item is still not available from our vendors". What the hell?? :'( Has anyone else managed to get hold of the import version? This sucks, I want the bonus track!

:( someone said that the album from the states will be the one sold on Japan...so we might not get a bonus track :(

^^^I thought so too, but all the online stores have japanese import + bonus track listed. Unless they change it, then I think it is still supposed to be released.

If the site he/she got it from said it had a bonus track, then I'm sure it does. Which would rule. I really hope there is one. *finger cross* All is Well!!

Personally, i'm hoping for the original version of The One [the one she played live @ The Living Room] without Stevie. It's so much more defined than the scaled down version. I don't particularly care too much for Best Behaviour because I never thought it was all that great but I wouldn't mind a studio version of All is Well. All is Well really reminds me of Morning Sting. All is Well, to me, sounds as if it should have been in Harmonium. I'm guessing it's one of the first songs she wrote since the completion of Harmonium.

Like I said, there's no Japanese version as of now: I was in Tokyo and all they had was the imported US version.

There was a review posted previously that reviewed the version of the CD with the bonus track on it, and the reviewer stated there was only one track, but didn't give the name.

CD universe sent me an email today and it's still "processing" so i'm doubtful as to whether the CD exists or not.

I got a reply from YesAsia and it's no good:
"In reference to your inquiry regarding Vanessa Carlton album "HEROES & THIEVES", please kindly be informed that, according to the feedback from our suppliers, your inquired product is in US version, and there is no Japan version which has been released by the publisher, hence we are unable to source such item from them."
I told you so, no Japan version, all I saw was the US one in Tokyo.
I guess we can kiss the bonus track goodbye... :?

I don't understand that NF, never got a psysical release. Only a promo :/
They could've released one, and included a b-side. And people would've hopefully bought it because of that.

Because even she probably has no idea. We'd be better off talking to someone at Universal or Polydor or whomever is releasing it overseas.
Has there ever been any kind of official announcement, or is it just speculation based on Amazon site listings?

i don't think there is any bonus tracks. i think that she would have said something different before she played "all is well" at her latest concerts.

Sadly, this import version doesn't even exist...
So unless there's a new edition coming out, the cd we have now is the only one we'll ever get.
