I'm confused about in which keys to play the beginning part in.
My friend taught me to play it in the B
but then i read somewhere here where they said VC usually plays it in C...
I tried it in C and it didn't sound right.
clarification?

vanessa originally wrote white houses in the key of b so whenever she plays it live she plays it in b, but on the record harmonium she plays it in c.
-
It's written in C on the album, but Vanessa plays it live in B.
I prefer playing it in B.
-
Really?
That is so interesting...
it sounded so different on the piano when I played it in C, but maybe I was too low.
That's weird to me.
-
her voice fits it better with the key of B the Key of C is too high for her
-
ya i play it in B
-
hehe for me, i toss a coin and if it's heads, i play in C, and if it's tails, B... lol
-
I play it in C, I like singing high. :P
-
damn dood.
I try to play it in C and it doesn't sound right at all
then I play it in B it sounds fine.
Am I doing smoething wrong?
