Haha, every time I watch American Idol (the whole season), and then the time comes for Canadian Idol (my country, XD), I am so bored from watching the whole process I don't even watch Canadian Idol.

I was listening to 94.1 & they were talking about how she used to be on a label and was apart of something Britney Spears related and had/has a manager who managed people like LeAnn Rymes (sp?). Idol might let it slide though cuz they were kinda comparing it to the Kelly Clarkson thing.

I was pissed when the car accident girl made it through. I thought she was really sweet and everything, but I was shocked that they sent her to Hollywood!

^yeah i was shocked too. she was already nervous as it was infront of them, how is she gonna handle performing infront of a million+ people every week? She had a pretty good voice aside from the thing that was mentioned about it, but I can see why Paula said no.
& OMG that brother thing was HYSTERICAL haha. Paula & Randy were hilarious! Loved how they brought Ryan in & how Paula just randomly started dancing haha. oh man I wonder if they hired this guy lol.

i love American Idol! people need to sing V songs, i wanna audition next year and just stand there and sing [i would try my hardest] and then talk about V lol. but not everyone even sees simon, paula, and randy.
i know someone who auditioned and they audition in a stadium first with judges that decide whether they get to see the 3 judges or not.

Well me and the rest of the people in her Superbowl video shoot hung out with her for 2 hours yesterday, I was like 2 feet away from her the whole time lol. and she definitely was funny, she was always cracking jokes with the audience.. I posted my experience in Paula's thread. i felt like i was dreaming the entire time, it was the most surreal experience i have ever had and i've seen/met a lot of artists, but it was nothing like that experience :)

i'm really keeping my fingers crossed for that european chick who auditioned last week and had apparently done so last year but couldn't make it cos of some visa problems... so she didn't even go to hollywood... you know the one with the tatooed arm and the boyfriend with the tatooed face...

when I was watching it I wanted to go to my room and take the camara and at least make a crappy record it, but it was just funny the way she sang, she couldn't even sing, and she fall down on purpose, think what about Simon said: :English accent: You are terrible

I still haven't found anyone I really like besides Brooke White. I think i'm just biased cuz I've been a fan of hers for the past year & kind of know what type of music she will release if she makes it big. But I did like the Josiah (sp?) kid who wrote his own song. That actually wasn't too bad of a song imo. The British accent thing was weird though.

I just got done watching the entire episode on youtube..I dunno how long it will stay up or what part it is, but just type in american idol season 7 episode 7 and different parts will come up. I think it's like part 5 or something, I forget though.

So I just watched Wednesday's episode, and Danny who sang "proud mary" totally surprised me with his voice, it was REALLY good. I'm not a fan of his personality, but his voice is good.

As much as I wanna meet Simon, and meet Paula again..I would NEVER go on that show. I don't understand why the bad people don't record themselves before they go on a show like that to hear how they sound. It boggles my mind. I mean I know there are the attention seekers, but I mean the people who actually think they are good.

I've actually found a few people I like, and really want to wait until Hollywood (like most of the time) to pick somebody who I LOVE. Haha. And generally, my favorites (Carrie Underwood, Katharine McPhee, and Jordin Sparks) have made it really far (2 winners and 1 runner-up). So, hopefully I can do it again lol.
But the one girl whose last name was like McKinney or something... she was kinda Broadway and I loved her. haha.

i love how there are all these keyboardists on the show. brooke white was amazing as usual. does anyone know who that song was originally by? i wonder why she's crying on the preview for Wednesday's show cuz *SPOILER WARNING* i know she makes the top 24. maybe she was just nervous?
oh yeah and david hernandaz not only has an amazing voice, but he's freaking hot :oops:
btw just an fyi they are making the results show an hour this whole season instead of a half an hour. and they are gonna focus on the contestants more this season and not have as many artists come on the show like last year. thank God.

Anyway, after Hollywood week, I do have a few favorites: I like Kristy Lee Cook, the Irish girl is pretty good too.
I don't know who's gonna make it to the top 24 though.
I feel like the guys have been better so far and it sucks cause I like female singers better! :lol:

David Archuleta keeps getting praise from the the judges but he should be good because he friggin won Star Search when Arsenio Hall hosted when he was 10. He isn't new to being on TV

wow, Paula & Simon really went at it after Danny's performance. I was like holy crap lol. Danny amuses me, yet I also find him incredibly annoying. I have a feeling him & Simon are gonna bicker after each performance whether he's good or not haha.
I liked David A's performance, Michael John's, and also the rocker Robbie's. I don't get the whole Justin Timberlake comment Ryan made about him though :? & whose the guy with the dreads? he was good too. He was the one on Cheyenne Kimball's show right?
& I couldn't even watch Garrett's performance, that was just..ew. Same with Jason Y's performance.

I loooved Idol tonight. It's about time Paula got some respect on that show, geez lol. It was totally surreal seeing her video on there. Too cool<3 How did you guys like it?
I'm happy with tonight's results except I liked the rocker chick. Oh well. And Syesha just became my 2nd favorite girl after last nights performance. Holy crap she was amazing.
And it's weird, I'm finding myself agreeing with Simon a lot this year. Usually I agree with Paula, but a lot of the performances I agreed with him like when he mentioned the boringness of some of them. I could barely sit through some of the performances. And I had trouble understanding Paula a lot of the times this week like Simon did..which is weird for me lol. Not being able to get out what I'm trying to say happens to me once in a while, usually when I'm stressed.

A few thoughts:
1) Some of the performances / song choices were SO ridiculously boring. What makes these people choose such dull songs and think that's going to get them votes?! It's common sense, people.
2) I hate it when they have all the contestants sing together on results shows. It's painfully cheesy. Do you guys agree?
3) Notice how all 4 who got voted off weren't shown very much, if at all, before this week? I wish they could even the playing field and give everyone an equal amount of camera time.

omg that performance tonight with all of them was painful to watch! it felt to me like a bunch of robots doing something they didn't really wanna do if that makes sense. i could tell they thought it was lame too. I don't know what the producers are thinking half the time on that show.

Alright so I'm about to watch the results' show of this week but I thought I'd post my impressions about the performances first.
Guys' night out always kinda bores me because I like female singers better but I have to admit there's a couple of good male singers in there. David for example is very good for his young age.
As for the girls, I really liked Alaina and Kady this week, very strong performances in my opinion. Kristy was a bit of a let-down but she was sick so that was probably the problem; I wasn't crazy about her song choice either. Carly was fine, again, I didn't really dig her song choice. Brooke was also disappointing.
Alright, now it's time for the results! More comments when I'm done with that! ;)

My mom went to LA yesterday and saw Wicked, and while she was there she ran into Colton Berry, she said he was sad to be voted off. My mom said he was also really short.

Wow, David Archuleta is BY FAR my favorite. I was practically sold when I saw him audition with "Waiting on the World to Change," but after watching him sing "Imagine" tonight, I'm HOOKED. Do you all like him? This is my first time really watching American Idol all the way through (GO Tivo!)... it's a totally different experience following your favorites through the competition. I especially enjoy Paula and Simon's banter.
By the way, I really want to download David's performance from tonight, but my credit card is MAXED out so I can't buy it from iTunes. Does anyone know of another way I could download it? Thanks!

Actually I'm in Cali like you, but you can watch it on this website http://www.dailymotion.com/igrecman/1 the same time as the East Coasters haha. They put the episodes up within like 40 minutes or so of it airing over there. I love it :D

It's weird, I don't really like any of the girls this season except Brooke & Syesha. I like more of the guys haha. & not because some of them are hot, but because I think they are more talented than the girls..I find most of the girls boring.
& I think Ramiele is totally faking the crying, I think she's only doing it for the cameras. I noticed on Thursday everytime the cameras went to her she would change and get more emotional. I dunno how to explain it, but did anyone else notice that?

Yeah she was kind of funny tonight, especially at the very end haha. But is it just me or is anyone else having trouble understanding her comments lately more than usual? Not saying she's drunk/wasted (thats far from what I think). It just seems like she's having trouble getting out what she's trying to say. Like she knows what she's thinking, she just has trouble putting it into words that make sense lol. Anyone get what I'm trying to say? I can usually understand her, but now I kind of cringe when it comes to her turn cuz I know she's just gonna keep going on & on & Simon is gonna get annoyed haha.

The judges were hilarious tonight haha omg. I totally forgot Paula said a while ago that Simon always distracts her during the performances.. maybe he's doing it more this season than usual & that's why she's so off lol. He definitely was tonight.
Amanda was freaking awesome and Carly was amazing!! I thought Simon was completely wrong with his comment on Carly's performance, but I totally agreed with him about Kristi Lee Cook. I don't remember 1 performance by her. I thought Brooke did pretty good tonight. I agreed with Simon about her, I liked how she did it.

I thought Carly was really good, I'm starting to like her. & David Cook was amazing, he reminded me of Chris Daughtry tonight! Brooke was amazing also, I LOVED her performance. it was possibly my favorite from her so far. I'm glad she went back to the piano tonight.
& lol at Simons comment on Kristi that it sounded like Dolly Parton on helium. I <3 Simon.

i finally got to see Tuesdays show & that was the first time I ever liked Kristi's performance, i disagreed with the judges surprisingly. if she did more songs like that instead of country i think i would like her more. cuz 1 Carrie is good enough for me. i LOVED michael johns performance. disagreed w/ Simon. brooke seemed nervous when she was talking..it was kind of awkward watching that, but i'm sure she'll do great next week! everyones gotta have at least 1 bad performance.
david cook is becoming my 2nd favorite. he's the next Chris Daughtry imo.
and holy mother of Saula..wow! i doubt any of you know what Saula is, but take a wild guess. dude that skit so has to happen ha. my jaw dropped when Simon said that, i was like 8O along with a ton of other Saula fans. i don't even care that Amanda left, i'm still in awe over that lol.

so we changed the poster (still Saula tho..it was the bright pink one in the mosh pit) & got seperated from our friend that had it, though we all got to stay in the mosh pit. we were RIGHT by the judges table. i was wearing my hair down with a black shirt & Paula's "reach for the stars" necklace i wear a lot in pics i've posted here. dunno if anyone saw us. i haven't had time to watch it yet.
i posted the whole story in Paula's thread. but me & my friends got to hug her TWICE, we chatted with her for a little bit, one of my friends got to talk to Simon, we got interviewed BY GINA GLOCKSEN from a few seasons ago for a show on fox reality (talk about surreal), got a hug from Constantine from a few seasons ago & hugged Danny Norega (sp?) from this season (he is sooo sweet).
i'm on cloud one million right now as you can probably imagine lmao.

Michael Johns was awesome last night, definitely my favorite out of everyones performances. I think they all did good except Kristi & the other chick I don't like that starts with an R (i can never spell her name right) but I can't stand them so I'm probably biased when it comes to their performances haha.
I loved Dolly as a mentor, she seems so sweet.
btw, David Cook was rushed to the hospital after last nights show cuz of a heart problem. He's out of the hospital since I last heard, but no word on how he's doing. His brother has cancer & it took a downfall last week so he's been stressed with that on top of the show :(
Oh yeah & Elliott Yamin's mother passed away the night before last. & Ryan hurt his knee really bad last night. I hope nothing else happens geez.

i didn't mention this when i went to idol last week, but he was the only contestant who drove past & waved at the fans. we were keeping an eye out almost the whole time for celebs driving up lol. i remember his car was just sitting at the corner waiting for a chance to turn & he was smiling at or towards me (i was like 6 feet away or something) & i was thinking to myself "am i supposed to know who he is?" then someone shouted his name & everyone freaked then he smiled & waved at us haha. i felt like a major idiot after that cuz he was smiling at me & i didn't even wave or anything i just stood there wondering who he was :oops:

loved michael johns performance. amazingly i loved kristi's performance too..i actually thought she did pretty amazing. that's a lot coming from me lol cuz i usually can't stand her. Carly's performance was one of my favorites from her, i just wish she did it on another night cuz i agree with the judges- didn't come across as inspirational when she did it.
David A. & Brooke White were my favorites! David's performance was just incredible, almost as good as his "Imagine" performance imo. and Brooke's totally inspired me.
well i'm leaving for idol at 8:30am tomorrow (Wednesday) & probably wont be back till really late so i'll update you guys on Thursday if anything exciting happens when i'm at idol. if i meet Paula again then i'll post in her thread as soon as i get back haha.

didn't see Paula, Simon, or Randy. we only saw Ryan & the top 12 in person. the tickets REALLY mislead us into thinking they were gonna be there along with at least a few performers. they actually bribed the audience with candy to stay when we found out thats all we were seeing! ha. we cracked up over that.
i did get to meet danny noriega from this season again though cuz he was sitting right behind us lol he is so sweet. thank goodness at least 1 good thing happened cuz we had bad luck pretty much the whole day. i <3 Danny =)
p.s. after getting to really see how kristi is in person for 2 & a half hours, i actually like her now. all the idols seemed sweet, except Amanda Overmeyer was there, and she came across as bitchy to me. i'll explain later if you want, i'm going to sleep now lol.

i swear if Paula wasn't on the show i would quit watching it in the middle of every season cuz of crap like this lol. most people i know are pissed too & think it was rigged. people are majorly pissed at Ryan too for what he did.
i was listening to a radio interview Paula gave this morning (she goes on a few radio shows every Thursday to talk about idol) & even Paula thinks it was rigged this week. she didn't flat out say it, but it was so obvious that's what she was thinking. she said she couldn't say what one of her theories was on why michael got voted off & the dj's flat out asked her if she thought it was rigged, but she just kept saying she couldn't say (obviously there would be a ton of drama with the producers if she did). she would have said no right away if she didn't think it was rigged. lol i could tell she was dying to say yes.

David Cook did amazing tonight, HOLY CRAP. it's the first time i've ever wanted to download a performance this whole season onto my ipod lol.
I always love Brooke's performances when she's at the piano, I prefer the piano to the guitar when it comes to her. I really liked her performance, but I did notice she started going faster like she was nervous or something. Still good nontheless imo.
& I surprisingly liked Jason Castro's performance tonight..didn't love it, but it was good. I usually don't like his performances.

i was surprised at how nice Simon was to her compared to Paula with his comments. i was kind of like "whoa" at Paula's comments. basically telling her she's gonna be voted off & "you don't stop" (the way she said that just made me go "wow, that was harsh"). Brooke probably knows that, no reason to point it out like that & make her feel even worse.

It really could happen to anybody.
She did handle it better than a certain Peter Wentz.
He forgot the lyrics once (I'm guessing in the part he was doing screamo, for he doesn't sing) so he started singing "Little Bunny Foo-Foo".
So Brooke did the right thing.

Most people think the producers rig the votes for the ratings/talk. If someone goes home & most people are like "how in the world did that happen??" it's gonna be talked about more in the press & media. Nigel (the main producer) just wants publicity. Why else would he make Ryan pull the stunt he pulled on Michael Johns? or make Ryan bring up Brooke's stopping mistake like 3 times on idol?
He's a nice guy, i've seen him in person a couple times before & one of my friends met him..but that's just my opinion & a lot of other people think that as well.

Personally, I have enjoyed every minute of this season. I thought Archuleta would be in the finale since I saw him audition "Waiting on the World to Change" in the very beginning. I really hope he wins. But there is no doubt to me that both David's have amazing stage presence. I think Cook might be even more captivating. He was already performing shows before idol. While his voice is certainly not as great as Archuleta's, what I love about Cook is that he truly makes every song he performs his OWN. He has taken the most risks out of any of the contestants he pretty much pulls it off every time. I think this finale is going to be really exciting. I think every one who has been kicked off deserved to go. Maybe didn't deserve to go WHEN they got kicked off, but I think the top 2 is correct.

the best part of the finale for me was Paula dancing on stage lolol that was hilarious & amazing at the same time.
but i will say despite all the drama that went on behind the scenes this season, i am glad a rocker FINALLY won. Cook broke the curse :)
& ya know, i actually think he has Simon to thank. he did reverse psychology on the audience ha. wish i knew it at the time cuz i was pissed at Simon that night :twisted:
