Well, anyone else going to be here? :?
-
i might... my family is vacationing in knoxville/gatlinburg that whole week, and if i decide to go with them, there's no way i'd miss vanessa when i'm in the same state. i haven't decided for sure if i'm going or not yet though.
-
It's only about an hour & ½ drive from Knoxville to Nashville, so I'd strongly recommend it! :D
-
whaaaat? mapquest says 4 hours lol
i believe it, it looks pretty far on the map. 4 hours isn't too bad though.
-
Knoxville and Nashville are only 100 miles apart. At 70 MPH, that's an hour & ½, plus however long it takes to get from the Interstate to a parking space. It's pretty close to I-40, so that's not a problem. Four hours from Knoxville will get you to Memphis!
But if you're staying in the Gatlinburg area, that could easily add another hour to your trip. I would recommend taking US-321 from Pigeon Forge west through Maryville to I-40 west of Knoxville as an alternate. It saves you from having to deal with Knoxville.
There's a Mexican restaurant two doors down from the Exit/In. They have a parking lot right behind them, but it's for customers only. Do like we did and get there early, park in their lot, eat at the Mexican restaurant (thereby being customers), and then walk down to the concert.
-
i'm pretty sure they're staying closer to gatlinburg. but either way, mapquest says 180 miles and 3 hours from knoxville, and 225 miles and 4 hours from gatlinburg. 7 hours to memphis. am i doing something wrong here? how fast do you drive?!?! lolol
mexican food is my weakness. you have no idea. now i want to go even more.

mexican food is my weakness.
Haha, I've experienced that first hand in NYC!
But I ended up having a great burrito so it was all good.
-
Only about 75. State troopers don't mind, as long as you don't cut through traffic. The posted limit is 70, except for on a few hills. But 3½ hours from Gatlinburg to Nashville is about right.
-
Yeah the calculations sound right. I am a terrible fan and have not bought my tickets yet.....I will be there though. Nicole are you coming?

I hope this is the sort of performance scheduale they'll be maintaining for the rest of the tour.
-
So, what's the breakdown? Who (besides me) is gonna be there??
-
So am I going to be the only Nessaholics representation there?
