Well I was looking at twilight (the song) videos on youtube and something pissed me off. Everyone seems to think that
A: She wrote it for the movie
B: She sucks at singing but the books are great
C: It should be in the movie
D: It shouldnt be in the movie
I used to LOVE the series. I loved the first three but then it became where EVERYONE read them and the fourth one was just dissapointing! Now its just annoying. Twilight the song doesnt even fit the movie. I could see maybe useing it for the credits or somthing, but it really bugs me that every Twilght (the book) obssesed person is now commenting on the song saying vanessas horrible or things like that.
Sorry to rant like that but it bugs me soo much. Go to You Tube type in Vanessa Carlton Twilight.
EDIT: In case I wasnt clear enough I DONT like the books ANYMORE! I like the song.

She used to sound a mess during & before the 'BNN' era, so it's understandable when someone comments on a video that was from back then.
It's a great song, though. :)

i honestly think the book twilight is over rated, and over done.
the fact that people think she wrote it for the movie is ridiculous, the song was written years before the book came out.
twilight is an amazing song, its beautiful, and people who say its bad are messed up. but thats just my opinion.

haha, I couldn't even finish the fourth book. After I read about Jacob and the baby (pedophile-ish disgusting...) I just can't, ew. Some people are morons, whiney morons. It's just a song and it's just a book, get over it.

Thats why I said "I USED to love that book". I liked the first three but now its just annoying. Did you even read them?I was saying it was annoying that every idiot obsessed with the books that types Twilight in on youtube says stupid things about a great song.

Love the books can't wait for the movie and I also think it's retarded that people are acting like that. But everyone has an opinion nowadays and people can put them on blast, like we are now, on the internet.

Oh my God, finally!! I haven't picked it up since I bought it (midnight release) where there was a huge line of tweens. The book isn't that great, I've read SO many romance novels since I was in middle school and its nothing special. Its just another paranormal romance, less sex and cleaner for kids. Bella seems timid, boring, and dry at times. Edward bugs me how he always tries to please or whines with worry every two seconds. Jacob, just a growing horn dog. 7+ feet tall and still growing? Could Stephenie Meyer have smoked anymore marijuana while writing twilight? It's good, not great. I don't see what the big deal is.

Thats basically just how I feel. Now the twilight people are attcacking Vanessa. The whole thing which makes me think IF Vanessa did have another hit as big as ATM... Would it end up like this? Maybe its better off her being less known? Just a thought she does deserve a hit... I dont know If youll understand what im saying.

No, but seriously, their these books about a girl named Bella who moves to the town of Forks and falls in love with a vampire who is extra-sensitive to her smell. I'm a guy and I've even read it. It has nothing to do with Nessa's song, Twilight; it's just a book that people confuse with her song because they share a name.

Uh, I'm going to see the movie, but I'll probably wait till it's released on DVD. I just don't see myself with a bunch of lovestruck girls sitting in a theater for two hours.

A friend of mine came to me with this, is a traduccion of an interview to Catherine Hardwicke from a film spanish magazine called Cinemania:

We have a new song by Vanessa Carlton. We’re also adding Radiohead and tons of great music. We were trying to get the music that inspired the book, because that’s the spirit of the story.
We couldnt stop laughing for a moment because we always talked about twilight being in twilight, and voilá.
I guess it will be the song twilight. They probably included the song into the movie after realasing the OST. I dont think its a NEW song, that would be awesome do. At least, it would be a pretty good publicity for V.

Although Twilight is an awesome song, I really don't think it goes with the movie. I think it would actually be Rinse that would go with the movie.. if you listen to the lyrics, it makes so much sense!

Just got back from the theater. There's no Vanessa music in this movie. I stayed all the way through the closing credits to make sure.

Ya even though I was soooo dissapointed with the ending. I still love the first and third book, so I saw the movie. No Vanessa... Im not suprised either.
Now my opinion on the movie:
It stuck to the book but left out detail, which I was expecting. The thing is if you havent read the book youd be VERY confused becuase they didnt explain much. The only thing that was realy dissapointing is Bellas Lullaby (which if you hadnt read the book wouldnt even know it was for bella becuase its like a 1 minute scene that randomely cuts off and nothing is said) becuase it was boreing; take away the fog and backround instruments (which DID NOT BELONG!!!) it was a simple little piano piece that was realy boreing not how I imagined.
That was my little rant.
Overall they did good shoveing it in 2 hours :)

mhmmm I stayed up until the second song came on during the credits my friends started to bug about leaving so I was not able to stay until the very ending when they show the songs and stuff. But I shall see it again. *side note, I personally liked the film but it could have been a whole lot better, oh well.

ANd the audience helped too... like when Edward was first shown everyone screamed! And they portrayed all of the characters well... and the scenes had so much emotion, it was just incredible. And they added comedy too.. which was interesting but really good.
Can't wait for the sequel!

The audiance was like that when I saw it too. I wanted to boo when Jacob came on becuase people screamed for him :(
