I search randomly for unique things but rarely see anything cool anymore.
I could karate chop myself in the face for not attempting to win handwritten by Vanessa, lyrics to "Ordinary Day" back in like 2003. They were written on this yellow, old looking parchment paper, totally awesome. Well, I guess I was in college then so I couldnt really afford it.
Anyone else ever see anything cool that you've won or lost out on?

No, sorry, I got all my Vanessa Carlton memorabilia in person. :D

Care to share any of your in-person scores? And I'm not really talking about autographed pics or shirts.
I remember people getting setlists given to them and then getting them autographed which would be pretty nice to have.

I have a setlist that I got signed when I saw her on the Haunted Club Tour. And my favorite not in-person memorabilia that I have is the White Houses vinyl which I hope to get signed one day.

Got a couple show posters and things like that....never cared for set lists or getting autographs...i think it takes away from the moment of meeting someone.....but just my personal opinion..i feel like people have become obsessed with documenting there experiences and adventures that they almost forget to live in the moment and fully enjoy it? i don't know just my thoughts......id love a poster of the harmonium cover....i think that would be great....even a poster size picture of the h&t album would be nice...i never check e-bay and things...are these types of things available?

I completely agree with you on the too busy documenting to enjoy the moment front nutnlp. I often times find myself falling victim to this at shows.
So as far as the posters are concerned, are you just talking posters of the album covers, or concert posters announcing the specific shows at venues? I know for sure there are posters of just the album covers on eBay. The venue posters are more difficult to come by, but you can see them on eBay still.

id really love a poster size(poster haa) of the harmonium album cover..ive seen the various small double sided ones for her two latest albums, but i wish i could find something larger...oh well..has there never been an official vanessa poster? id love one.

the only stuff like taht I have are the cds. I made my own posters. I really wanted a t-shirt from her last tour but when she came to Chicago they ran out. She told me personally that she liked them and they would put them on-line to buy. Never happend =[ but I can wait. =]

Lets see...I have:
-a poster I took off the wall in san francisco last november
-set list from the haunted club tour
-almost all her single cds
-a signed poster from a private show
I almost got a gold BNN album but it was $150 and I don't have a job.

omg Shelby you reminded me of the stuff I got from the first time I saw her! lmao How could I forget!??!? I also got a copy of the set list by her piano. It was either that one or the one by Skye......I grabbed hers lmao. and I snatched one of the poseters that were on the walls as well = ] lmao one of the round ones with the ringtone info at the bottom

She has autographed my 'Be not Nobody' cassette and my "White Houses" 12-inch single. I also pulled her set list off the monitor speaker the last time I saw her. :D
