If it wasn't already clear that Vanessa has split with Inc/Universal it should be now.....H&T, the entire album used to be available for 'page songs' and streaming on Myspace and now it's the only album NOT available on Myspace...sucks that Vanessa doesn't own the rights to her own music..now they can do whatever they want with the songs and she won't see a cent. :( Oh well, maybe this will open her and her managements eyes alittle bit?

She'll still get money if more of her back catalog sells. She is the artist, after all. I don't think The Inc. has the power to deny her money. Anyway, she could just be releasing her new album independently and using Irv as a manager (let's hope not, though). ;)

yeah, she'll still get royalties from her music.

how do you find those types of catalogs?

music catalogs? They're just a collection of all the artist's songs they've recorded. Vanessa's catalog would consist of her three albums -- H&T, Harmonium, BNN -- and whatever other songs she's recorded. It's not an actual catalog you can obtain.

I've been looking for one, but i'm not really sure to be looking...
Would anyone happen to know?

I believe they're talking about this:

You can't add or stream any of those songs. I just clicked on where it says "Albums" beneath the streaming music on her myspace page.
