Title: The perfect setlist
Post by: vttmishere on March 03, 2010, 03:35:44 pm
I don't know if there ever was created a topic like this, I quickly checked and didn't find.

How about everyone create what would be the perfect setlist for a fictional "warm-up" tour before the new tour? The only rule is that it needs to be the maximum of 16 songs (including the Encore), based on an average of her setlists.

Mine would be:

1. Nolita Fairytale
2. Fair-Weather Friends
3. Ordinary Day
4. Prince/Unsung (Medley)
5. C'est La Vie
6. Who's to Say
7. Fools Like Me
8. A Thousand Miles
9. Pretty Baby
10. Hands On Me
11. London
12. White Houses
13. Half a Week Before the Winter
14. She Floats/Wanted
15. Twilight
Encore:
Home

;)

Papa
Waltz
More Than this
Who's to Say (the "I'm promoting Harmonium" version)
Heroes and Thieves (the version before the album came out)
San Francisco
Afterglow
Come Undone (I'm still waiting for a live performance)
London (I prefer the one she played at L.A.)
Home

In that order. =P
To me, it plays some story that I don't really feel like explaining.

If I used windows, I'd use winamp (http://winamp.com). Try it out.

I agree that the sound quality is better, but WMP's Library is unbeatable ;D

1. Hands On Me
2. White Houses
3. Heroes & Thieves
4. Fair-weather Friends
5. C'est La Vie (w/ alternate lyrics)
6. Private Radio
7. Best Behavior
8. Annie
9. Rinse
10. Morning Sting
11. She Floats
12. Who's To Say
13. A Thousand F'n Miles
14. More Than This

Encore:
15. Home
16. Twilight

This was tougher than I thought it would be. This would be an amazing show for me. A good mix of B-sides, album stuff, and songs V does much better live than they were recorded. I am almost tempted to make a playlist of this on my iPod.

I've Winamp on my computer, and I like him too, especially for its effects, such as voice remover. But the WMP library is much better, more organized =]
