I just read from a twitter search that V revealed she is bi? And she performed 2 new songs?!?! 'Don't wanna be a bride' and 'Tall tales for spring', as well as 'London'?? I am so proud of, inspired by and in love with her more than ever. I am SO excited to hear all the details and hopefully RECORDINGS!!! ;D God I hope someone got the whole show.

I actually really enjoyed what she did with the "waltz" now called "tall tales for spring" granted i couldn't hear all the lyrics on the video haha. I have a great feeling that this album will be more of a dark sound (maybe haha). but she said she has to still work on the album so another few more weeks! so maybe we will get that august or september release we hoped for!

Thanks! I couldn't get that piece of information :) Well, as long as "London" is still on the album as she said the song is so important to her, I can wait until september.
And God, I'm already getting addicted to "Tall Tales for Spring". It's incredible how Vanessa never disappoints me! ;D

interesting tidbits for you to ponder:
she never said "Rabbits on the Run"
she said her new album is coming out "eventually" and that she's going back to london to mix the album and stuff.
everything sounded way more personal to her this show, with the way she changed the lyrics, sounded, and everything.
i only took like 2 pictures during the show because i was too busy taking videos.
as you saw from Let's tweet (i'll post the picture here later) I did get the set list, and Vanessa signed it for me. =)
this whole nashville trip is just awesome. :D

oh, p.s. Vanessa still had a big 'ol bandage on her right leg from that dog attack.
it didn't affect her playing though. she'll be fine.

Well, but as I am an impatient person I'll keep listening to the videos we have so far. For someone who couldn't attend the show like me, it is better to listen to those than to nothing LOL

I'm not really liking "Tall Tales for Spring". I think it worked better as an instrumental piece. I'm sure the quality of that video doesn't do it justice, though.

Im a bit dissapointed she chaged up Waltz like that.. Only becuase i learned the whole thing on piano and now i have to re-arrange it all haha.
Overall I have a really good feeling about this album I think it may top Harmonium :D

Home!! Such a fun trip and totally worth it. We had a fantastic time.
It was so freakin' hot!! I have no idea how peple live there. If you didn't follow my tweets I'll fill you in. Vanessa played with Mark B. on guitar. We were all so happy to see her again. It has been too long. She looked beautiful as ever and sounded lovely. As I predicted, loud, rude people talking but we were in our own world enjoying all 45 minutes of it. She did debute some new songs. "I Don't Wanna Be A Bride" I loved instantly.
Vanessa signed for people after the show which was surprising because it was so freaking hot and we were all sweating balls. But we were excited to get to say hi and thank you, show her we will always be there with the love and support. She was sweet as ever and I love her even more.

okay i know v has such great vintage fashion taste... but i was watching Let's videos on his youtube and i think if i'm seeing this correctly she's wearing like timberland boots with a dress.... now i am not sure if that is because of the dog bitten leg but those are the most flattering things haha i still love ya though v <3

OK, Kulpy. There's nothing "official" except the words that come out of her mouth at this point so I'm going to go with this.
I always have them on private because I upload them all at once, overnight then put in the titles/info and make them public.
I appreciate the thank yous. I wish the sun was in a better spot, it wasn't so loud with rude conversation, and I wasn't so hot, I kept wiping sweat so my aim was off a lot. Ha. But you all were going crazy over those crappy videos so I am sure you don't mind. ;)

Absolutely!! It was not by the stage but there was delicious free food, free water (I had about 9 which were $3) private restrooms (not port o potties) a place to sit in front of a big fan to cool off a bit. And 2 free drinks which were $6. Nicole and I had 4 ea (Kulp & Katia don't drink) so yes, for us it was. Kulp and Katia may have a different answer.

In 8 years and 40+ shows I don't think I have ever seen her in anything but heels. I am sure it was because of her leg. (which was wrapped up) I thought it looked cute. :)

In listening to some of the videos I like how she changes things up a bit. It seems like she knows she isn't going to be able to nail some of those high notes she used to back when she was touring regularly (which she tried to at the last show we had videos for, it didn't go so well, lol), and has compensated accordingly.

Well,I've looked on youtube and there are still some videos from that performance (http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=vanessa+carlton+nashville+pride&oq=vanessa+carlton+nashville+pride&aq=f&aqi=g-L1&aql=&gs_l=youtube.3..0i19.245777.247392.0.247463.10.3.2.5.5.0.81.240.3.3.0...0.0.gCv8Ni9X9Go) but i went through all the pages of this topic and i can see that all of eclv (Let) videos are removed from youtube, as well as the channel itself, that sucks, would like to know what happened. maybe somebody could reupload them. As for the audio, i think there are some mediafire links in this same topic (see this page above)
