lol, i'm going to get a puppy next year... i have a dog, but i want one i can take with me when i move out... but i dont know what kind to get! it needs to be small tho, cause most apartments only take little dogs... like really small, i'm thinking 10 or 12 lbs. any suggestions?

thanx Kev, yeah, i love terriers too, i grew up with and still have a cocker spaniel tho... they're good dogs, but too big for what i'm looking for...
pugs are really cute Mike! but i dont know... i just wouldnt want one as a pet

Dogs are not "better". Both have advantages and disadvantages. I love them both. Actually, I love all animals... except people. :wink:

i just love dogs, they make great companions and are fun to have around.
the dogs i know are kinda like family to me!
which is why i'm sad, cause my favorite dog, besides my Muffy(muffy is fine!), is getting put to sleep tomorrow.... i'm going to go say goodbye in a couple hours

you mean like breeding them?
i know thats a fulltime job that takes alot of care, money and work... atleast if you want to get puppies that celebs would wanna buy
or do you mean helping them find breeders? i might be able to offer tips, lol, but i doubt i could make a business

because, you are going to be off to college soon. You don't want to take a dog with you. Too much of a pain...say you want to go to a friend's house, who is gonna take the dog out? I know you travel a lot too, you gotta find someone to watch the damn dog. It's just a pain...cats are easier but they are a pain as well.
Oh yeah, dogs smell!!

If you're a bad person like me and let your cats out as well as leave enough food and water for them then cats take care of themselves. They have to have claws though if you let them out for their protection.

yeah... Let, i thought about all that, but i dont know, i just really want one... and i wont be far from my family, brother and grandparents, so if i need to i can always leave him/her with one of them (they all said theyd be willing to). yeah, they can smell, but this one will be small so it'd be easy to give a bath!
and yeah Tylor, i know lots of people who just leave their pet out with food and water if they'll be gone for a day... it's not bad! and i'd do that, but only if it wasnt cold.

ah. I just leave a window open for them to go out.......I can still do that here in Reno......without too much concern....but I don't have a cat anymore :(
oh well, I'll get another one.....soon....maybe....

get a tea cup sized yorkshire terrier... they're absolutely adorable and act like cats.... unless that's just my friend Kelley's tea cup yorky.. lol...

yeah.... but my grandma had a yorkie and that thing was mean!! lol, so i have bad expiriences with that kinda dog. my dad called it a rat... and its name was saki and i called it sock
