lol, that's be funny. I do have that weekend off, but my husband is ALREADY giving me a hard time about wanting to go (which makes me want to go more). so we'll see!

Hopefully at least three! I'm going to try to get a hold of three for my sisters and me. I think I'm going to meet up with them in the city that weekend and take them to see Vanessa so they can see why I'm so obsessed!

I dialed the number at 258, sent it at 259 and was on hold for 8 minutes. At exactly 3 I ordered a ticket for the 26th, then the site wouldn't load back up and I had to sign back in. I thought I was going to have a heart attack my heart was pounding so hard. Just as the site popped back up, a guy answered the phone and said there was one ticket left. I am soooo sorry for whoever cannot go :( I feel really selfish

So I'll be there, both nights, with Nicole who was sweet enough to book a table for us! <3

So glad to be able to see everyone again, it's been too long! ;D

Now I need to see if more shows will be happening so I can book my flight(s) and hotel(s)!!

SO.STRESSFUL.OMG. but it's ok, i can breathe now. yay. can't wait to see everyone!

Yes, I found the thread from 04 where the exact same thing happened. But no one got through. We were told that someone bought all the tickets. Katia then contact her people and they added another show that had a password.

Glad we all got tickets!! Can't wait to see you all again and V!! Oh and meet some new people.

Joe's Pub is always hard cuz they release so few tickets due to label/management going to the show and scalpers end up picking up the remainder. That is the one venue they have to release a presale for the hard core fans or else we struggle to get tickets. At least we know and coordinated tho!

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again and meeting some new friends... this is gonna be a BLAST! One of my favorite venues to see Vanessa even if it is impossible to get tickets :)

Glad you managed to find a ticket! I also wouldn't mind sitting with some NESSAholics, because I really want a good seat, preferably close to the stage - though I posted a message earlier about needing help with the dinner reservation thing and no one replied. Go figure. :p

I got mine Saturday! I only got the one though, because I ordered one online before the site went down and then one over the phone. I take it they don't send you one in the mail? I didn't read my confirmation email thoroughly I just was excited I got it!
No one showed up!?!?! That's a disgrace in my opinion. Aren't label people supposed to be at artists shows or am I completely wrong on that front? This is going to be a whole new experience for me, so I'm glad I get to share it with people who really know and respect Vanessa. I've been to two other shows but nothing like this one (once back in 2002, and the Cullowhee show at the college in Feb), so I am VERY excited!!!

I guess they just needed that information to become a member. When I ordered the one ticket over the phone the guy only needed my last name and he must have pulled up my membership because he didn't ask any other questions other than the last 4 digits of the credit card I was going to use. I don't really think I answered any of your questions, but that was my experience!

I guess they are supposed to, but I'd much rather they promoted the last 2 albums and done important things like make sure all area stores have stock of CD's as she comes through towns on tour. This is obviously not as important as it used to be, but you get my drift.

Yeah, it's an entire day by plane from Kuwait to New York, with a layover in Dubai. I'm only ever in the States during the summer and some winters, so I'm really glad that I finally caught some V performances within my timeframe. I'm so excited to meet everyone - I've been raving about it to my friends nonstop ever since I booked my tickets. :D

I booked a studio apartment right in Nolita not far from the bar, they have a 2 night minimum and it's relatively cheap compared to hotels in the area. Roomorama.com

The gentlemen I am renting from says I can do 100 and he gives it back at checkout. It also had said 350 for a deposit at one place and 200 at another , so I asked him and he said 100 would be fine. I think it depends on the person you work with, mine seems pretty flexible. he's also letting me check in earlier (because it was 530!). You can leave an inquiry without any commitment, so I'd ask around.
I was a little confused on how it worked so I asked him and he said you actual pay the website, which you can do with paypal or a credit card. then when you get there, you give the person a cash deposit, which he then gives back when you check out. It seems like at a hotel when the put a hold on your credit card in case you damage something then they can charge you for it. If you were to do damage to the apt then they have the money to cover the damage.

oh wow, 90! must be one of those shared bathrooms? I was not down for that! I got "gorgeous stuido on historic, tree lined street" lol. It's pretty close to the pub and that was one of my criteria because I don't want to walk too far at night by myself!

I just don't think I could do shared though I suppose I would have to if there was nothing else. It helps that I don't have to pay as much for traveling, I can indulge on the room I stay in. I decided not to go to the 29th instead I'm going back to Boston to spend time with my family.

I agree! I really hope that she'd include them. It'd be so cool. Almost all of the people who made ROTR would be there if that would be the case.

I have a friend that makes his own shirts so I'm going to ask him if we wouldn't mind let me use his stuff. I thought it would be cute we all had something to show our support and as a momento of NESSAcon. I'm open for suggestions about color/design. For girls, the rabbit and writing look really cute in hot pink too (even though it doesn't go with the ROTR color scheme).

I understand, like you said, that it'd hard to travel with (although I don't think they're that big? they look about 12" wide) and also the hassle of getting to a post office and stuff.
