I need to figure out a way to be able to carve out time from my workday to potentially participate in this. I've already marked my calendar to avoid having any overlapping meetings during this time, I don't want to be accused of slacking, even though I plan to obviously make up the time on my projects. I notice a login/register link at the top of the home page. What's the Q&A mechanism like? Is it like a good old fashioned chat window? Or is there a submission form for questions.

I don't think you need to register or do anything special to view a Livestream event. Tori Amos did one awhile back and I don't remember having to do anything.

Oh, wow, I didn't figure in the time difference! *slaps self.* I guess it will be at about 12:30 for me, so I guess I can make it after all! Hmmmm, I was thinking about asking her if she prefers singing like she does now or like how she did before, because I noticed she's trying to make her voice sound smaller or something? I don't know how else to describe it, but it's definitely a different style.

But she said that 'twas going to be ten songs no matter what, so I think that there's a small chance that there are other songs aside from those in the album.
But maybe...... We'll never know.

Maybe Moneymaker was an instrumental with just background vocals that she later added lyrics to? Or maybe it is just unreleased. I'll go with the latter. Someone should definitely ask, though. I don't think I can make it to the stream.

Thanks! I really hope she does perform it at some point. Also, I love watching her perform "Wanted" . It's like she's in a trance. It's one of my favorites songs (if not *the* favorite song). When I saw her perform it live, it was like she was bearing her soul.

That was an amazing livestream, yes some of the questions were a bit obvious and asked time and time before, but she was really honest and that was a really truthful and insightful glimpse into everything. i really hope she does another session, she said herself that it was a good idea.
did anyone record it, mine ran out after like 5 minutes and deleted itself as it exceeded the time frame :(

If I remember correctly, she mentioned the vinyls before she mentioned the fall tour so I think it means the summer shows. If not, then gah. :(

Due to a mix up on my part in the time difference between ET and GMT , I missed the live stream :'( :'( :'(, but just watched a replay on the site now.
Firstly, I really loved London, could well become a favorite for me and not just because London is my favorite place on Earth :)
Really thought Ari and Skye worked well with V, haven't been a huge fan of the violin with Vanessas music in the past, but both complemented her perfectly.
LOL at Vanessa and the questions, "how do you move the page" ;D ;D

I thought it was really awesome! I love how funny she was, making jokes and everything.
The three of them had GREAT chemistry. Ari and Skye looked adorable - I love when she said one of the questioners was a fan of Skye, and Ari said "me too" <3
The best part, though, was when she said there would be a more extensive tour in the fall! Awesome, maybe I'll get to see her then!
All in all, I really liked the whole thing.

If you click the link on her facebook page and then "more videos" or whatever it says in the UI, you can watch the stream at any time. I looooved "Tall Tales for Spring." Not the first time we've heard it, but I believe the first time with both the violin and guitar. It was awesome!

the story was about her neighbor. When she looked out her bedroom window she could see a walker and it was making her very depressed. Probably because walkers represent the elderly, decreased mobility and aging/dying. She was trying for a long time to get it off the roof and finally John (I don't remember his last name either) took care of it. When it happened though, he was cast in the light just right so that he looked like a giant taking care of this walker.

I love this so much, i really wished she had just give us a sampling of her violin skills, but it's amazing when she just goes, 'it's not happening, but i like your style.' They all seem like genuine friends with a common interest and amazing skills, and V appears really relaxed and happy.
I think with the water, she was drinking P Spring for NF, as i have a poster when she is doing the peace sign in a break in shooting, and that bottle is always somewhere near her on the picture, and on some live shows i've seen on YT, i think you can tell by the tiny little bottle.

She said... 'released on July 26th, BUT we'll be selling vinyl at the shows'. So, not to get all technical, but I think the 'but' signifies taht it will be the summer shows... :)
