I was blown away by this show. It was my first concert ever, and I have to say, it set the bar high for any concerts I go to in the future. It was absolutely amazing.
I don't have the official setlist, but here's what I remember (not in order):

I thought the opening act (Maia Sharp) was pretty good too, although I don't know the names of the songs she played.
I didn't get to meet V because I had to leave shortly after the show ended. But, my sister and I sat behind Stevie Nicks in the audience, so that was pretty cool! Also, Ari was there, but not Skye. I missed him. :(
Vanessa was skjdhkfgliuyrwehfkjhd INCREDIBLE!! Her voice is so beautiful and strong (I have to say it, even though we all already know it!) and her piano playing really gets to me. I actually started crying during Who's to Say and Home. I was very impressed. Hopefully this will be one of many V shows I get to attend in the future. I loved the Largo too. It has a nice atmosphere.

it was sooooo good i can't get over it. she is amazing. sad though they didn't let us take pictures :(
it was funny when she forgot the words to home hahaha.
she didn't come out afterwards. i waited for a little bit and some dude came out and told us she left already. oh well, i was really tired.

I had a feeling that she wouldn't come out, because maybe she went to hang out with Stevie. I wasn't sure that it was her at first when they escorted her into the audience, but then during Nolita Fairytale, the part where Vanessa sings "Stevie knows, and I thank her so," the ladies next to her exchanged glances and they all smiled, so that confirmed it was her. I liked the way she was nodding as Vanessa performed.... kind of like a mother who's proud of her child in a way.

They did that to us at the Joe's Pub shows as well, telling us she left the building. She doesn't usually take off that fast after shows, so you usually just have to wait a little while longer and she'll come out.

Yep, she did come out through the backdoor after a while. The venue staff was super rude and did not care at all. Well, it's LA for you I guess...
But it was very nice to see Jessica, Holly and Steve, old school Nessaholics! :)

nooo, that's what row stevie was in right? i was in row J which was like 2 rows behind her. i swear no one around me even realized it was her and i wanted to be like, you GUYS! that's STEVIE NICKS!! (sidenote: i tweeted that she was there and i've been getting @ replies on twitter ever since from stevie fans asking where i was.)
anyways, so rude of that guy to tell us vanessa left! i was wearing my shirt i made from the last time i met vanessa that she signed. and i wanted her to sign it again :( haha oh well.

OMG! she came out!! i was so sad that i ended up leaving... i was gonna ask her to sign a drawing of my tattoo that says "all is well"... gah i should have known better!! well i took videos of practically the whole show... (im pretty slick with the camera)...but some of the videos suck cuz the lighting was bad, but the audio is good... i was pretty much screw the rules the venue owners can shove it! (they literally can because they were a whole bunch of liars!) >:(

SAMMIE, I totally wanted to do that too!!!! I saw them bring her in and i asked my sister, "Oh my gosh is that Stevie Nicks?????" and she didn't know cause she's not a huge fan like me.....and I kind of kept staring at her and the people around us like, "Am I the only one who notices that it's her??????"
WOW. How could they tell you that she left when she hadn't???? I would have been extremely mad if I left after waiting a while. I couldn't stay anyway so............ :(
Hahaha, maira, you're very sneaky!!!! How did you manage to record because I saw the largo employees coming up and down the aisles quite frequently and they even took some people out!!! Good job though!

Wow.... the show was amazing. V sounded great, and it was just really special. haha... but I guess your first V show always should be, right? It was just beautiful. She played Heroes and Thieves, Fools Like Me, Nolita Fairytale, and Dear Cali on the Rhodes. Sounded lovely. :) But it was an amazing night. :)
She did come out after the show, apparently. i waited in the courtyard until the staff practically threw us out with some BS excuse about how she had left, which we all knew she hadn't. ugh.... but maybe in the fall I can meet her. :) Fingers crossed! :) I think Ghisy might have been sitting right next to my friend and I... but I was too shy to say hi! :) Sorry.... blush... :) And met another fan or two... haha....
Overall, It was amazing! It just reaffirmed my love for her and her music. :)

haha i am very sneaky! lol... i just had the camera on my lap and i covered the lcd screen with my sweater... plus my camera is black so it blended in with the darkness lol....

It was pretty crazy. I never expected to see Stevie and she talked to me a bit. Told me how much she loves Vanessa and told me to get her own recently released album.

no it was just a voice mail message saying that they require email reservations... im gonna try calling later on tonight during business hours

What a magical show. I actually love this venue for their strict no camera policy. I think some people are so concerned with capturing and documenting the show that sometimes they are never in the moment or really enjoy the show. It was nice to not have any cell phone lights or flashes for once. It made me enjoy the show and really be in that moment. Stevie is always such a nice suprise...Vanessa sounded the best last night out of the 6 shows I've seen. I don't really know faces or names but it was nice meeting some people last night...see you Monday night? :)

that's so great! congrats on sticking it out and finding her. I'm just a tad jealous :P, I would have loved to get Stevie's autograph especially one for my mother in law, she loves her.

I have always disliked the staff at this venue however, I was happy to see the door guy wearing a Katie Herzig shirt. But yes, they are still assholes.
I didn't bring my good camera because I know how they hate our electronics. This is the first time I have ever seen someone walking up and down the aisles. I had my little P&S on my lap. I got tapped on the shoulder and was told to turn it off. I just nodded my head at him and he tapped me harder and said, now or you're going to leave. I turned it over showing him it wasn't even on. It really pissed me off. Especially because the person in front of me had their camera glowing in full view and he didn't go around to them.
I too hate when people are using flash or holding their camera up and you see their view finder glowing. It is very distracting. I tend to use my eye/view hole or have it close to my body so you can't see the glow (why I tend to aim too high a lot haha) I've been doing it so long it doesn't totally take away from my experience. Well, sometimes when I get so into it and want to dance or can't help but sway. I'm happy to share with fans who haven't had the chance. I really think youtube is a great outlet for artists to be promoted for free.
It was a beautiful show, probably only the second time I've seen her play in pants/jeans.
I'm so glad Holly talked me into going because as of 12:45, I wasn't. Wonderful to see, Jessica, Steve and Holly again. We were missing Nicole and divasteph.

I agree that YouTube is an amazing outlet for artists especially for artists with fan-bases the size of V's or smaller....but there is enough content, even from the upcoming record already on YouTube especially with the small amount of shows she has played for this record dating back to a little over 2 years...I don't think it would kill anyone to just leave everything in the car/at home and just enjoy the show this one time. Largo has always been that way & I commend them for that.

I enjoy the show everytime, recording or not recording and like I said I am respectful of others. I am not saying the staff are assholes because they don't like our electronics, believe me, I am glad no one is clicking their camera or I have to see their glow. It's just their whole attitude from the moment you try and get in. I've had several bad experiences there.

I have never gotten attitude from them so it's hard for me to understand where you're coming from. I've only seen comedy & Mandy Moore a few times in The Little Room. I think they run a tight ship because the amount of staff they have. I think they do a great job & ensure a good show for everyone. I don't think a relaxed casual fan would ever think that the staff are assholes because they probably wouldn't be focused on getting cameras or electronics inside or showing up hours before the show. (I've always enjoyed their assigned seating so I can leave & come back) Yes, tons of current content online is yours and I'm always appreciative of any videos/pictures/reviews from anyone on here. You're highly praised on these boards..guess I should join the ranks? THANK YOU.
ps: Fools Like Me sounded amazing on the Rhodes.

I'm totally with Let on this: they are assholes at this venue! My first contact with them almost made me regret my decision to come to LA for this show.
Luckily, it turned out to be a very good show, even though I think San Fran was better. I managed to record the audio for the whole thing (yep, screw you and your stupidly enforced non-electronics policy!), it sounds ok but not great.
It was nice to see her (again lol) after the show. I didn't go up to her to talk to her or anything because I've seen her a bunch of times on this tour and I felt it was too much. :P
She wished me a good trip back though when she noticed me and we exchanged a few words. She's always sweet with me. :)

I dare not even try to record inside. A friend of mine who I met at the show tried to and they just took her cam. but she did manage to record audio which i cannot wait to hear again. It was so amazing to meet you guys :) You guys are so nice and sweet. I hope you guys enjoyed the pins. :) and yes twas' my first Vanessa show. I cannot wait to see you guys next time. You guys rock! Well Genuis next door is a regina spektor song. I was making a new facebook and I was wondering "How many people will notice if it's spelt wrong?" Nobody noticed. haha & NessaHippster It just looked good to me. Nessa has two 's' and Hipster has one 'p' so i tried to even it out. I like it. Yeah I feel people think I'm just a dummie xD haha

I just saw a vid yesterday of her nodding, smiling and then when it was time to clap again she looked at the audience. I think I've seen it in another video too.

honestly, she did not at the shows I was at, only the first show in VA I think..
Yeah, she only smiled at us when Kulpy and I did it (and maybe a couple of others?) at the first show in Vienna. I've done it on a sporadic way, sometimes I just don't feel like clapping.

Yeah, I was just saying I really doubt it puts her off. She seems to encourage it in some vids I've seen. And she's played at shows where the crowds have done much worse than a few appropriately placed claps & still been able to carry on fine.

I just wanna say one thing....... It was so lovely to see her smile! I haven't seen her really smile in any of the interviews and stuff...... and she really has such a lovely smile. Reflecting back (this isn't meant to be weird), but seeing her smile is magical. She just seems so happy when she genuinely smiles. It was so just....... it was really nice to see. She seems like she was in the dumps for a while, and those smiles are so bright and they show that she seems happier now. :) love that......

I was at the show at los angeles too and waited in the courtyard for her to come out. when the staff told everyone that she left immediately, I didnt believe it until the staff forced us out. lol. the girl who I bought the signed poster from at the counter seemed genuinely truthful when she said it to me though.
and I did get a picture of the printed song list that the staff had.

You're so lucky! I went to the Swedish Hall venue in SF the day before. There was no Stevie, no Skye, and 3 fewer songs (including Nolita Fairytale).
But I admit that I still adored the whole show. Her voice is so serene and her music is just breathtaking. Ari played very well, too. She's forever a piano goddess. VERY pleased that she came to SF. Hope she comes back again so I can give her a painting that is in process of developing.
Cheers to VC shows! They are so worth the $.

Skye wasn't at Largo either. And it wasn't even originally planned for Stevie to come. She just decided to kind of last minute.
