Title: Liberman leftovers
Post by: vttmishere on January 04, 2015, 04:32:46 pm
I've just come across this page and I found it really interesting:
http://hiddenjamsmusic.com/in-the-studio/tentative-track-lists/vanessa-carlton-liberman

I wonder about those other songs, but judging by past situations, we'll probably never get to listen to those which won't be on Liberman :(

Does anyone have any extra info on them?

some of them might have had their titles changed, and some of them are the same song, like "eyes see hidden things" and "house of seven swords". i'm sure "eyes see hidden things" is just a quote from "house of seven swords" which was written on the blackboard. this might happen to other songs that are in this list. well and the rest of them we're probably never gonna hear haha.

I know that she said that the album would have ten songs, but I reeeeally hope that she might decide to release a deluxe version with more songs!

a deluxe would be nice. maybe there'll be a rarity album someday. i do wanna hear moneymaker though, but i feel like that would've fit better when the album was in the euphoria stage.

"do it" became "nothing where something used to be"!

also, "night flight" is not a song title.
I'd have to find the recording again, but she mentioned during a live show, it was the name of a book, or movie or tv show or something that she drew inspiration from.

Sort of off topic: Do you guys remember right before ROTR came out a weird deluxe edition with SUPER BIZARRE tracks on it was suppose to be released? I remember 2 of them were "When in Rome" (hahaha) and "Dance Again." It was porbably totally fake... but we were really excited.
