OMG... i'm sorry but this is getting completely out of hand. If you have any thoughts on how shitty fullerfuck is, or have any updated news, thoughts, concerns, questions, statements, ideas, threats... whatever... put them here.

We all know Fullerene doesn't know it's ass from hole in the ground when it comes to running a board. Sure it's fun over there, but really folks, whats with all of the hullabaloo? 8O
Think about the prople from Fullerene's other boards (i.e. T.A.T.U., Counting Crows) who don't have an alternative like we do. 8)

Well, there were several points about the o-board in that post. :?
But to get a bit more specific, The system apparently can't handle the volume it now has (probably why they're upgrading), the mods are inconsistent (not to mention heavy in the ego department) and the topics are extremely repetitive. :evil:
Plus, as long as it's been down, everyone has been here anyway. I just don't understand what it is about the other board that is that special ... the hullabaloo, if you will. 8O

If you do not have anything meaningful to say, DO NOT POST. Contrary to VCMB members' beliefs, IT IS NOT REQUIRED THAT YOU POST ON EVERY SINGLE TOPIC. And it is not required that you start at least three new topics every day.
Before Fullerfuck went off it's rocker, this was a peaceful place with meaningful topics about Vanessa Carlton, our lives, etc. etc. It has since become a place to post meaningless nonsense that has no place here.
It is really simple to keep from posting the same thing twice. We call it "search". http://forum.nessaholics.com/search.php . It's an interesting concept, you guys should try it some time.

I have never said I didn't like people coming from the o-board. I love it when we get more members.
What I DON'T like is the few who come over here and act like this IS the o-board, and they can do what they like. As limey said, read the rules and FAQ, and follow them. That's all I ask.

Have of the reason so many of us met or came to this board was because fullerene f'ed up so bad that we all had to go somewhere else to chat. I still check out the o-board :cry: for old times sake but.... I love it here. :)

The board isn't down... but it seems like they purged the database or something, because a lot of the older threads from 2002 and 2003 are gone. I had links saved, but none of them work anymore, and when I went to look at my post history like 99% of the posts are gone :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:. I was working on putting together a little recap of stuff for my 3 year VCMB anniversary, too, but now all the posts are gone :evil:.

this really has nothing to do with the vcmb site being up or down, I have nothing to do with that. So...please watch what you say because I will redirect it towards a moderator.
When things get out of control or people just go post happy without reading the rules around here it bugs me, and I'm sure it bugs others, so just watch it. This is not the vcmb, its a better place with better rules in place to make it that much better of an environment. :wink:
