Title: "Heart of the Holy Land" (not really religious)

(there was a special on CBS the other night, and that's usually when i get my best writing down, sad middle eastern stories...this probably isn't good, but I am proud of it anyway.)

Heart of the Holy Land

Her mother strong,
Her daughter is gone.
She died today,
The enemy celebrates.

Her life taken,
As she went to the market.
It causes hate,
Ignorance gained.

She died today,
She is Hebrew,
They are Palestinians,
The enemy celebrates.

Violence spreads,
Many young women,
Proud of a murderer.
They’d kill themselves to kill too.

She died today,
While the enemy celebrates
Blood shed everywhere,
Body tossed anywhere.

The bomb of the enemy,
Ignorance and hate,
Tears apart the enemy’s face.
She bleeds today.

Her mother strong,
Her daughter is gone.

The enemy celebrates.

Friends one day,
Hate the next.
She died today,
The enemy celebrates.
