They are amazing live and they are the only group or artist that I've seen live more than Vanessa. I've seen Widespread Panic 27 times at this point. The setlist is ALWAYS different. So you can go to show after show from night to night and you won't hear the same show ever!!!! Which is really cool. You may hear about 1 or 2 songs every other show that you heard a few cities back but that's it.
Anyone else ever heard of Widespread Panic form Georgia. Thay only have about 8 studio cd's out now... :razz:

I'm going to see them in Little Rock, Arkansas this Sat. night and then getting up the next morning and seeing them in Dallas, TX!!!! I have already mail ordered tickets for the NYC shows at Madison Square Garden shows for 2 nights in a row for Halloween as well!!!!
I can't wait for some Panic shows!

The Little Rock show was smokin' and the Dallas show was even better!!! The new lead guitarist is picking up well. They played so many good songs. I even got hear the Grateful Dead cover of "Cream Puff War" and we had been talking about the song b4 the show. It's a song by the Grateful Dead yet they never played it live. So, Widespread Panic being the jedi masters that they are, discovered it and play it now!
Anyway I can't believe soooooooo many peeps have no idea who this band is still!!! They aren't going to play at all next year and this will be the 1st break that they have taken since 1985!!! go see them while you can!!!
They are heading to Cali real soon!!! like next week I think. They are playing at the "Warfield" in California 4NIGHTS in a row and it's sold out. This should tell you something about the band and the show and the party that is about to unfold.

Yep for you that is cuz you honestlyhave no idea what you are missing. I said the same lame stuff before I went to their shows as well but I went and saw the madness. You should keep an open mind bro... :wink:

She just kept dissing LP so I said well who do you like....and I expected her to say something like Britney spears, but she said them, and then I just well, THEY SUCK....but I don't know if they do or not...haha!

I just got back from Austin Texas where I saw WP 2 nights in a row at this awesome venue called the "Backyard". The shows were crazy awesome and we were up front for both of the shows. I got tons of pictures but have not developed them yet.
I'm going to fly to NYC on Halloween to see them two nights at the Madison Square Gardens. I can't wait but I'm kinda freaked out about flying to NYC on Halloween. 8O

holy shite NYC was the bomb!!!! I just got back and they played "I wanna be sedated" by the Ramones as well as "beat on the brat"!!!!

for all you Georgia folks, you should attend the New Years' shows in Phatlanta!!! They are a huge party every year. 8)
My best friends are driving into Atlanta for the show in a few days and I'm sooooooooooooo jealous that I can't afford to go!!!

Well, I mail ordered for the nyc shows and my money was sent back. When regular tix went on sale they sold out for all 3 night's in 5 minutes. Now they are on ebay for hundreds and thousands of dollars! WTF? :x
Anyway, I got 6 tix for Dallas today and 12 for Tulsa so that is at least something. It was tough even getting those though. 8O
I guess since the Grateful Dead are gone and Phish have split up, all the heads are going to Widespread shows now. :roll: It's cool but it really sux because it's a real pain in the ass trying to get tix to the show now. :? I can remeber not long ago when it was a peice of cake getting tix...
Has anyone on this board gone to a WP show yet? Probably not but oh well...

Well I just got back from L.A. to see Panic at the Wiltern 3 nights in a row. It was Amazing. 8O I got pit the 1st 2 nights and chilled in the mezz the 3rd night. It was a great trip and my 1st Cali show ever. Loved the weather! 8)

just got tickets in th mail for the Dallas show coming up in July. But I'm really excited about getting tickets for the three shows in Chicago in August. It's the last three shows of the summer tour and one my best friends just moved there so we have a free place to stay downtown Chicago. :D I'm stoked because it's one city I haven't hit for shows before.
