I've been here a week now and it's been amazing. I joined the VCMB about a week before I joined here. The other board was sloppy and just dead. Thanks to Blackvulture I'm here and here to stay. I love Vanessa since a thousand miles. All her songs speak to me and are just so amazing. I can't wait for her next album. No matter what direction she takes us Make Mines Vanessa.

Hey all...
i'm new and please don't fire me if i did something wrong ;p
Well, English is not my main language (since i live at Malaysia, somewhere in Asia)...
Appreciate Vanessa since the release of Harmonium (since BNN was not so popular here though A Thousand Miles is still playing at most of the mall here)...
After i've listened to White Houses, then i think that This girl is worth to listen and after i listen to all of her songs, i can say i want to live my life with V's music till i die!
i appreciate every single of her songs..
Keep supporting her as to let her last forever in this industry!
Oh and my all time fav song of her is Who's To Say and White Houses...

I'm Ashley, 15 years old! :D
I was born in the USA, but then I moved to Lebanon with my family, and I have been living here in Lebanon for about 6 or 7 years.
My dad is Lebanese and my mom is American.
I'm an American girl at heart! 100%!! :D :lol: :lol:
I actually discovered Vanessa on a visit to the USA during the summer of 2002. A good accident of fate I think :P :lol:
I automatically fell in love with her song "1000 Miles"!
That year wasn't an easy year for my family and I, because my cousin (who was visiting the USA with us) passed away a few months after our return to Lebanon due to Leukemia....
Every time I listen to that song I cry, because it reminds me of my cousin who also loved "1000 Miles" as soon as she heard it on the radio...
After about a year, I still loved that song and sang it to myself at night when I'd miss my cousin...and i finally decided to find out who sang that wondrous song! :D
I got her CD, and since then I've worshiped Vanessa!!!!
I have all 3 of her CDs and i downloaded her demo songs and I am learning how to play the piano now so I can play "1000 Miles" in memory of my cousin...
