you all NEED to check out the new hanson stuff... god i thought they were amazing before, but they just continue to blow me away. i just followed their tour for the last 4 months.. seen them 56 times now. u can get the new cd on hanson.net for only $8.99 and the real album "underneath" will be out in the spring. you can probably download some new songs too like "penny and me" the new single. seriously, check out the new stuff... GO.. NOW!

i absolutely love hanson. their new music is brilliant and "this time around" is to this day one of my favorite albums... great guys! and zac is pretty hot.. but that's a completely different story! :-)
can't wait to get "underneath", the real album! it's going to be very good..
and "misery" is one of my favorites of all time

8O I can't believe they're coming out with new stuff!!!!!! Woohoo! I can't believe how old we're getting now too. I mean, i was in 8th grade when mmmbop came out and now I'm 20 and Ike just turned 23, Taylor is married! I'm so old!

they were my first band obsession. i was in love with them, haha. back when mmbop came out and i think it lasted a few months. but yeah... i had posters all over my room and my best friend and i used to trade posters since she loved Zack and I loved Taylor. lol... brings back memories. but yeah, i'm not a fan anymore.

because i followed their tour since august (i only missed 11 shows on the entire tour) and the tour just ended nov 11.. plus i had seen them over 20 times before this tour even started. god i love those guys <3

i saved for 3 years for this tour... managed to save $8000. i only used like $2000 cuz if u go with friends u split everything on the road.. and we rarely got hotels, we just slept on the sidewalk every night camping out for front row.

I am sure they appreciate your dedication to them. NBL. But doesn't it feel weird to see them so many times. I mean when we would see V so many times I would want her to at least know I was there but it was kinda weird, if that makes sense.
I looked at your list of shows and remember seeing them on the HOB Orlando site and thinking of you. Did you drive all those places?

sometimes it gets weird when they see me so much.. i felt that way with vanessa alot too.. but i dont as much with hanson. sometimes i would just stand back and watch when they would come out and meet fans, so that other people could have a chance.. cuz they know we were there, theres no need to be right there every time they turn around lol. besides i was front row for every show except 3 of them soo thats good enough for me. we did drive mostly to all of them, but for the orlando and atlanta shows i flew. we lived in a car for the entire month of august.

well they played this same venue back in august and the show sold out... they dont have an incredibly large fanbase but they do have an incredibly devoted fanbase... you cannot possibly understand insanity until you experience the show.

So i was cleaning out my room last week and I came across some Hanson c.d.s and put them in for old times sake (i was in 3rd grade when the first one came out) and actually listened to it and there are some AWESOME lyrics and music! you know, when your little you dont care what the songs about, you only care what your friends like, so then you like it too, ya know? Their new stuff is good, I downloaded a bunch and I'm gonna go buy the cd. I'm excited haha[/i]

Really? I've always thought This Time Around was my favourite, but the more I listen to Underneath, the more I love it.
As for MoN, I love it too... their voices sound so different to what they sound like now. Plus it'll always have a special place for being the album that got me hooked in the first place.

TTA is by far their best. Underneath doesnt even come close.

hmm i think i like underneath better than tta.. plus the songs of underneath will always hold a special place for me since i followed every show on the underneath tour and 25 out of 36 shows on the underneath acoustic tour. hearing the songs just bring back so many amazing memories. best year of my life.

Middle of nowhere reminds me of all the times i spent with my two best friends in middle/high school. Whenever MMMbop comes on the radio it takes me back. MoN will always have a special place in my heart. But, I think that Underneath is thier strongest album to date.

Has a new cd out called "The Walk". It's good, in my opinion!Proceeds for the song "The Great Divide" go toward an AIDS fund in Africa.
There was probably already a Hanson thread, but I don't feel like finding it.
Anyhow, some Chicago alt-rock station played "The Great Divide" on rotation, referring to the band as the "mystery artist" and it got very popular with listeners and became one of their most requested songs... something that would never have happened had the song been originally advertised as a Hanson song, unfortunately.

hehe, i'm on tour with hanson right now until mid-november. glad to see a post on here about them (although yes i started one a longggg time ago, but a million hanson posts still wouldn't be too many!) this tour has been amazing so far. definitely check out one of their shows if you can!
