Hi, evryone!!!!!!!I'm registerd at VCB and u talk so much about NH.com that I decided 2 register here :) :) Well, I'm one of those who got invitations, and I'm going to NY, right now I'm at the airport and I'm so exited and nervous!!!!Anyway, I'm looking foward to meeting some of u guys tomorrow, so ....CYA!!!!!!

After the blizzard, I'm back home sweating in the summer, my family is at the beach, but my dogs were here to welcome me back...lol. Well , I had a great time meeting u all !!!!! I had a lot of fun in NYC ;) :wink: !! Went to the Guggenheim, did some shopping, met even more weird cab drivers... Went to the airport yesterday ,got double checked (maybe I look like a terrorist to them :?: :?:) and got on the airplane and waited two hours in it cuz a security guard "removed" a woman from the airplane, then we had 2 wait 4 them 2 get her luggage,then some other people came in....(I'm still not sure what was going on there??!?!), what else... I had to listen to the woman sitting next to me sing brazilian country music :x :2guns: , lost my connection flight at Sao Paulo airport, shopped some more at the duty free :wink: and got home... finally! But I'm still missin' NY :) :) cya next time :wink: :wink:

hey honey - glad you made it home safe - i slept on a cot at the airport - they had shut the entire airport down so there were tons of people stuck there!

!!! nao tenho dinheiro... estou "saving" meu dinheiro para visitar brasil em verao com minha amiga. ela quer visitar piaui (lol) pq ela morava la. tenho que visitar minhas amigas em belo horizonte e sao paulo... e talvez vou visitar parana tambem. vc mora perto daquele jardim?? nao lembro o nome, mas sei eu visitei um jardim muuuito legal em curitiba.

praça do japão... visitei lá também... foi muito legal! eu gostei muito de curitiba. vc visitou toledo? é pequeno, mas maior de minha cidade aqui... e tem um shopping, lol.

lol, i babble too much. sometime in the future (hopefully the near future), we do have to have lunch again, teehee.

yeah, he did get sick again... we took him up to hartford, like an hour away, to an animal hospital which is supposedly the best in the state. he had the surgery today, which, uhh... essentially took his uhh... manhood away. my brother is a tad naieve, and thought that he's now a girl, and we have to change his name from jake to jaclyn or something like that.

i visited him today in the hospital, and he is doing well i suppose... they had to shave most of his fur off for the surgery though, he looked so funny!

i had a vocal recital tonight, my my class and I had to sing the song, "silent night" in different languages, i did german, but one girl sang in portuguese and I thought of you both! it really is such a pretty language! especially when you sing in it!

But portuguese has less neutral names than english, it's sorta like french, u know?, where some objects are reffered to as a fem. noun or a m. noun,never both(like the english "it" ) so that's even harder.If I had enough creativity I 'd suggest Emily some names..lol. Well you are in Sao Paulo. We HAVE to go there, because of the airport. Almost EVERY outgoing international flight from NY is to GRU in SP... at least I think o.O;
But the difficult part is how the hell we are going to make a trip to go from SP to Teresina, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba and Toledo o.O *shivers* sitting on a bus to go to all of those places??
BTW, what was that site you said Jules about cheap brazilian flights?

no, its not THAT far... toledo to curitiba by bus I've done before. Its like, what, nine hours? no, probably less than that. and I did it alone too, and this time i'd have my friend with me so it wouldnt be that bad. curitiba to SP I've also done before, as well as SP to BH... but argh, HOW the heck long would it be from BH to Teresina? Estimates?
Maybe we could take a plane that part of the way, or at least part of it. But there is no plane that goes from BH to Teresina as far as I know. Looking at Gol, which would be the best to get a bus then to go to Teresina? Probably Fortaleza, right? Maybe not, there are some choices on that list of cities and I don't know where they are.

I've flown with Gol before, except they have this thing that prevents me from buying a ticket... I don't know, supposedly they won't take my credit card or something. When I was there I had to have a friend buy me the ticket on her card and I paid her back.
