I remember your haunted eyes
And your sad little smile
The way you'd drift off into your thoughts
Everyone once in a while

I remember your voice
The way it shook when you cried
I remember your tears
Constant as the tide

I remember your heart
Colder each day, trapped beneath your breast
I remember the end
The knife in your chest
